Met Pete Nice in Atlantic City in 92 or 93. He was sitting by himself in a casino restaurant, and I was his waiter. No crew, no homies, no girls. Just him. He was quiet and chilling. I talked to him for a few minutes after he finished up his meal. Asked when 3rd Bass would be putting out another album. He kinda smiled and said it wasn't happening anytime soon. Kind of when I figured out the group was no more. He signed a doily for me. Wish I had it still.

Surfaced years later and became the greatest character ever portrayed in hip -hop. Was always a mystery which has all fans desperately looking for any story of his coming up. His death was shrouded in mystery. And now has everyone who missed out during his run going back to check what the hype is all about. What a story (start snapping). PEACE to the DOOM community

Peace, 7! Keep listening. Even though, he was an Ansaar, he drops jewels of 120 in his rhymes, real subtle shit. That and he likes to switch perspective from 1st to 3rd person a lot and quickly. That turns off a lot of people cause they want something linear or spoon fed.

always loved the 3rd Bass albums. Way back when, it always felt like Pete was the real deal. It's nice to see Pete coming back infront of the camera and mic again. I love his role as a currator. I'm sure Serch wasn't easy as a bandmate. I'm glad they seem to be back and working on he road- as men grow we beome more wise and humble. Much love to the Primeminister Sinister Pete Nice.

This is so dope to see. We never hear from Pete and we really need to. It’s good to see the other side represented..since Serch is always somewhere running his mouth. Pete Nice is that dude I looked up to as a kid that made me feel like it was ok to rhyme as a white kid. Respect. I hope I get a chance to visit the museum one day.

Pete is not only one of the greatest lyricists but also one of the most interesting interviews - can't get enough of the Minister. Unlike "his former partner", these are true stories.

Got to know Pete a little bit a few years ago. He’s a cool ass dude, just a laid back guy with incredible stories. And one of the most underrated lyricists of all time. Wordz of Wisdom, man.

Man this is so dope! 1st show was 3rd Bass / Nice N Smooth & KMD was supposed to be there but it was Downtown Science. Club Grafitti (gone) in Pittsburgh near Pitt Uni. Serch came outside after and asked me and my homie how we liked the show. Got a pic but I never got a copy. Pete dipped off to the bus I think. Classic show n times!!

I was born in 1967 like Pete and Serch...it's a trip that our age group can still be considered old skook and then hip hop...we grew up with break dancing and the music was changing a lot. Good Stuff.

This such a great interview, it's so real. I wish I had my 3rd bass tapes still. Hard to find 3 strikes to 5000 anywhere. My only question is did Pete slide in all the baseball references or was it both of their ideas?
