@@hellod4036 healthy people can squat and be sexy
@MayaMickaMicak10 ай бұрын
@@Louis-qo7tf I'm not really sure that's true, because working out would never give me the "ideal"body type. I, for example, am naturally slim and somehow I have a flat stomach and even a little bit of abs, although I don't work out, I never did, I eat junk food constantly, I was addicted to harmful substances before, and overall I'm very far from healthy, but no one would guess that I'm so unhealthy because I don't look like it. The same thing is true for my slim friends, but the opposite is true for my thick friends, they're really healthy and are always working out but can't lose the weight, usually because of some hormonal issues, but they're 10 times more healthy than I am, they just don't look like it. It's a shame that they get judged for being "unhealthy" just because they're thicker, but those same people assume I'm healthy. But to answer your original point about working out. I felt really insecure watching this video because no matter if I workout or eat healthy there's no way for me to get big breasts or a huge butt, which is the ideal body type nowadays. Surgery is the only option for me and a lot of people if we want to attain that body type. So the only thing I can do while watching this video is to be insecure and feel horrible about my body because working out won't help and there's no natural way for me to earn the "ideal" body type. I hope what I said makes sense, English isn't my native language, so please correct me if I'm wrong or if my point isn't clear enough Hope you have a great day

Advocating for yourself is the definition of self loves. It’s not easy for many people like me to speak up and remove myself from situations that I know don’t serve my purpose or well being. It's something that they will get used to. Although it's a different lifestyle, there's actually a lot of advantages to being ignored. You can think and focus on daily life without having to constantly be anxious about people engaging with you. You can sit in a park and people watch without guys thinking you're waiting to be approached or even caring that you're listening to their conversation. People generally don't care what you have to say, so you can listen more and engage in deeper philosophy. No reason to spend a fortune on makeup, nails, or a fancy haircut and clothes anymore. Really you do see women get a lot wiser and more tranquil as they age... And when they grow with their appearance instead of fighting against it, that tranquility and wisdom they gain IS beautiful. There's a huge portion of men who go from beginning to end without that attention. Although some of them let it weigh them down too, a portion would have a great deal of wisdom on dealing with the lack of societal love.

@@mirrors8913Tell me you've never talked for more than two minutes with a woman without telling me you've never talked for more than two minutes with a woman. The situation you're describing is far removed from the average woman's experience, unless she's incredibly attractive and/or beautiful (or has attractive features) or, alternatively, is either very self-conscious (and thus fears that people are looking at her) or too confident (and thus interprets everything as flirting). What is much more concerning to most of us is the fear that our partner will lose his attraction towards us as we age and that we'll spend our days resenting younger women and girls for still having what once was ours, while we're desperately trying to escape the reality of ageing and dying. Just to clarify that I'm saying this as a woman who is on the "pretty" side of average or slightly above if I put in enough effort, as are most of my female friends with whom I've discussed this topic. When a woman is talking about getting so much attention from men, she's often lying, prone to misinterpreting or actively dressing provocatively.

Ah yes, another humiliation ritual from Jubilee. Edit: The title used to be “Can 100 women find the perfect body?” This was not an educated discussion 😂

Was it really that weird though 😅maybe I’m just awful but I didn’t think much of what she said or how she conducted herself was ‘bad’ like she was literally voted #1 by the people in the room and honestly if she’d given some self deprecating like oh I have no idea why anyone would pick me first, that would’ve been seen badly as well no?
@Elinlundkvistt10 ай бұрын

Jubilee, to be clear the issue isn’t that it’s International Women’s Day. It’s that the very idea of this concept perpetuates the superficial way we as women view other women and ourselves. It confuses beauty with an ideals-only approach to humanity. It reinforces the idea that women should be preoccupied with competing with other women and fixated on appearance and pleasing others (men and other women) rather than living full lives of dynamic differences and purpose that no one can see with just a look and also men are capable of appreciating. Why would Jubilee gather all these beautiful, sweet women and ask them to compare themselves and subject themselves to heartless ratings?? So many of these women came in with confidence and remarkable acceptance of a range of beauty and the ability to see beauty in a variety of people. We are not Barbie girls and this is not a Barbie world. No one needs to fit into a box and aim to look the very best to be the most coveted commodity. Just take care of yourself and others, respect yourself and others, learn to accept rejection as inevitable but not unique to you nor some indicator of your worth, and create more types of beauty NOT LESS. There is no need to compete with each other to be at some limited and imaginary and always changing physical ideal just to get likes, desire, and adoration. Just work on creating positive self regard for your own life, health, and self-worth whether or not others would value the same things.

strongly agree. this isn't acceptable any day of the year.
@nifegun10 ай бұрын
maybe tell that to the 100 women who agreed to participate. This show is voluntary. No one was forced into it and demonstrations like this are showcasing society not shaping it. By all means you can be an activist for any cause you want, but in this case I think it's misplaced.
