I totally get where Ben is coming from at 4:14 ... All these years we've been watching Jenn and Ben's relationship grow, and it's no secret Jenn is the bigger earner in their relationship. But it's easy for any guy to feel slightly emasculated when he's not the biggest earner, and I'm glad Ben's very open with Jenn about how he's insecure about being the +1 in the relationship, the videographer/assistant, or the tag-a-long to Jenn's (very public) persona. I hope Ben finds fulfilling work in his own career, maybe through his music? I believe he shouldn't worry too much about what Jenn's parents think, just be grateful that you guys are able to support yourselves, a privilege denied to many. I like to think Jenn's subscribers care a lot about you, too, Ben, and we wish you guys the very best when navigating the tricky territory of having a KZbin career. All love xx

It's so hard for Ben. I was just mentioning it in another comment but... There are still some Asian parents that have this mindset that men have to reign into the financial stability of their household. Ben could be facing some form of unnecessary pressure? But I'm happy that Ben is now making some videos :) I know this is one year ago. But I really love to revisit this video because it's Jenn (I love her since the day I found her KZbin) and just how happy she is with Ben. I enjoy seeing both of them. I know it's just videos (it could be superficial but I doubt so). Jenn is confident in herself and she's comfortable. That very much ties in with the people you hang out a lot with aka Ben :)

You know it's true love when your biggest fear is not about you getting hurt but genuinelly wanting the other person to be well. Like their fear is not loosing them, is seeing the other person struggle. That is beautiful. I don't exactly know what love is, I never fell in love and sometimes I get skeptical about it (we see couples everywhere but I rarely see connections between two people like theirs) but couples like Jenn and Ben make me believe in it and hope someday I could live something so magical like this. I really wish the best for them, they are both incredible people. I follow Jenn's youtube channel for some time and seeing their relationship develop is simply beautiful. I totally agree that there seem to be a lot of people who are with another person solely so they won't be alone, but I don't think it's fair to base your impression of their connection off of random observations or times when you're with them. It's not often that other people are around to watch two people having these sorts of conversations - they're such private, precious moments - and they don't happen all the time for most people I don't think, but they're precious and mean a lot. I wasn't trying to judge other people's relationships or compare it with theirs I am sure they have their difficulties like any other couple and they aren't always so deep I mean this was for the video, it was just a general comment that came out while I was writing the comment. It wasn't supposed to be a 'oh most couples don't love each other because I don't see them behave this or that way' , especially when love can take up so many forms and relationships are such unique dynamics, so sorry if it came out that way or it seemed insensitive, it really wasn't my intention. This was also two years ago so maybe I didn't know how to express myself better or had a weaker understanding of things. I believe this comment was based on my personal experiences with couples that I am actually close with like parents, family members and etc which means I shouldn't have extrapolated that to the general aspect of things since it's an extremely small sample. And even if I know things about said relationships I am still not part of it so I can't know what actually goes on inside. Again, apologise for my immature self from 2 years ago. Dude what the heck I didn’t expect tears gonna come out of my eyes when I clicked this video. Early today I told my boyfriend some insecurities I have about my body. I said I’m worried you won’t like me anymore because of that. He was like awww I should never worried about that because the he just like the way I am. When I look at Ben and Jenn and realized this is exactly what kind of relationship I want. Who knows how long I will be with my boyfriend but at least right now this video reminds me how lucky and grateful I am to be with my bf. I’m I cried so much when I watched this video. When Jenn says when I die who is going to take care of him? I’m not sure why I didn’t have a lovey dovey feeling like everyone else, but felt very triggered and repulsed by it instead.
