It's not a bad album but probably because of two factors: it isn't Halford singing and the music is so different from what fans were expecting

Me too, to be honest none of their newer albums can compare with rocka rolla, sad wings of destiny, sin after sin and stained glass but that's the way it goes. Good artists sometimes have to make albums that more people usually tend to buy, such as turbo and ram it down. These albums weren't bought only by real metalheads. But they did that to survive and be able to make more masterpieces like their last album, Nostradamus. And by the way Tim did a hell of a job with priest.

Lyrically, one of the stronger songs written from this time period. Unfortunately, musically, it just plods along. That was largely the problem with the Ripper years - either the music was . good and the lyrics sucked or was the other way around. There weren't too many tunes where they just nailed it.
