One thing I have learned from watching the testimony of many detransitioners: eventually those who are not supposed to transition, will desist, and when they do, they'll need their families close by. Friends of mine are going through a very similar story, theirs is made even worse because the girl has been selective mute since the age of fifteen. This is a tragedy of our age and those who speak out are demonised. Much love to you Jude and all your family.

I was relating the tale of a detransitioner to a friend. He reported that in UK a family member was called a BIGOT for pointing out caution due to mental health issues. My friend does not believe that a professional would use such terminology...

That is the insidious nature of this, the school keeping it from parents I mean. Absolutely ridiculous. Any other problem and they school would be straight onto the parents.
