I think the appropriate punishment would be to remove the phallus and brand their face so everyone knows what they did. Prison isn't going to help them, they are sick in the head. Removing the tools and giving people visual warning ahead of time seems like the most efficient and effective way to solve this for all parties.

There is the U.S.‘s criminal code and also legal precedent that the judge has to consider and abide by. If the criminal code in the US is similar to Canada’s then it specifies maximum jail sentences for most serious crimes. E.g. in Canada the maximum prison sentence for a hit-and-run is ~5 years. If the judge wasn’t bound by legal precedent and the criminal code’s limits on sentencing then she definitely would have given him life without parole. But to a guy that old, 22 years is more than the rest of his life so the outcome is good in the end

It does hurt you. Sadly I know too..... But you are not totally ruined. You can still feel compassion, kindness and empathy for others who are hurt as well. These qualities make us human. Unfortunately some people misuse their free agency to hurt others in their bad choices of selfishness, to satisfy only themselves and their own lusts, at the expense of a child's life and intrinsic right to innocence. A perverted pedophile is narcissistic, they think of no one but themselves and their own twisted lusts. They do not care who they hurt. They have no compassion or empathy for anyone else. Their souls are dark, evil, totally vile, twisted and deformed. They are parasites. The Lord will have His vengeance upon them.

@@piopio2413 Right, but the title said "emotional" when the judge was reacting appropriately. It can be suggested that the word "emotional" was used because the judge happened to be a woman due to the western stereotype of women being "emotional" when they happen to react appropriately. ninsnumber1fan she said children ,so nobody knows the gender of the children. he could have very well raped 2 boys, or 1 girl and 1boy it’s proven that Pedophiles doesn’t limit there abuse to just one gender, tho they may have a favorite gender. Further more she said she’s sick of adults taking advantage of CHILDREN. I can believe she would react the same way. As a woman with a son and 2 daughters I HATE pedophiles, men and women I don’t care what the circumstances are. it’s sick for ANY adult to engage in impure activity with a minor.

I’ve just turned 34. This judge, showing emotion. Absolutely nothing wrong with it!. I feel for those kids because I’m telling you, the ages that they’re, this absolutely will stay with them. 23 years ago. I turned 11 on 27th June 2000. In November 2000 people finally put a stop to the abuse I had been suffering from every Tuesday, every Thursday for the previous 9 years. It started when I was around 2/3 and finished just after I turned 11. I’ve been blessed with an amazing little girl, she’s 11 is my daughter. And this is going to make me sound heartless. However, there literally is nothing I wouldn’t do for her. Her mum is the same. That being said, if I could go back in time and have 2 doors to choose from. Option 1 is to live the actual life that I’ve lived accumulating in my daughters arrival back on 12th Jan 2012. With option 2. Having the option to be put to sleep and never wake up… It may make me sound selfish or something but I’d be picking option 2 everyday of the week and twice on Sunday. It doesn’t matter wether your male or your female, when things like this happen, and when it haunts you, it doesn’t matter how much of a manly man or a woman’s woman you are… Scares hurt, and anyone that says they don’t, says it because they haven’t lived in your shoes thankfully. Anyways I’ll stop babbling: I truly hope these kids have nothing but love and joy from this point onwards. God bless and stay safe/

@@PVNCHES101 Which is why the prison guards separate them from the general population. They put them together with those who have acted as informants. Let's stop relying on the scum of our society to handle these things and just handle it. No parole, no prison. @@jayjoe3716 I agree with you...from my own experiences, it wasn't/isn't always about having dominance over another person, to have the power or control for whatever reason... Rape is sometimes just about sex that is felt owed or required so taken by force & violence...and that's just the beginning. People like me feel unworthy, dirty, a thing to be used however is wanted, broken. It takes a very long time, if ever, to not freeze if we even glimpse a similar looking person that raped/broke us. In this case the wife should be investigated as well. If she helped to orchestrate those children being put in that position...I don't care if he threatened her, if she somehow helped him get his PREY, she deserves the same punishment, if not worse! Adults have choices, they may not like them & not choose any except to just continue in the same situation, but THAT is that ADULTS' choice.... Ooooohhhh....sorry... I'm still working on fixing me 30+yrs later...
