Watched several videos of this Judge and her options. I am impressed by all the the programs to help the person who has criminal charges, drug problems, unstable living conditions, broken homes, parenting issues. Never saw so many options.

They are state funded or County funded or both. This is Texas, and maybe the tax payers believe in giving people a chance to clean up their act. Some counties, have too many other heavy burdens and it’s not in their budget. Some counties, do not want their taxes to keep going up into empty promises. I myself feel it should be state mandated to get help while in prison. Not sit around and DO NOTHING. Maybe reward with good attendance for all those programs.

3rd case: over 900 days in custody and she is just now seeing the judge for a motion to revoke? Justice was NOT swift.

My understanding was she committed the offense prompting the motion to revoke this year. She has over 900 days incarcerated over the whole duration of her case from arrest to the original probation sentence.

Most have Clip in hair extensions and they like playing with it because maybe they never had long hair. And they look like they are pawing at it. Notice people who play with their hair, it’s usually fake. Most people with natural long hair, they do not play with it. I think here in court it’s lack of self confidence. Inferior to a woman judge and women who work in the court room.

Preening reduces stress. Most all animals do it. Stroking their hair is as comforting as sucking their thumb. Some women see their hair as a sexual lure and hope it will give them an advantage with a male judge. I am sure a psychologist can explain it. Same reasons why so many women come to court dressed like they are in an AGT (America's got Titties) competition. It is very distracting and disrespectful.

imagine the last woman kept on struggling with probation for years. some cant do it, all to discover she was timed out before it even started. im glad for her she violated conditions , atleast she didnt waste anymore time. god knows the state will let you go on for years, even though you've already satisfied the judgment of your sentence. im glad she got out, even if it was through no doing of her own

I must say, the 2nd woman with the red hair looks surprisingly good for a 45-year-old, hardcore, long-time meth user. I swear I thought she was in her late 20's. She doesn't read as that old. I hope she has successfully turned her life around. Being in a drug-induced haze for that long will kill anyone's enthusiasm for life and destructively alters brain chemistry so that stopping is nearly impossible without constant cravings and at minimum replacement addictions. I had a friend who successfully gave up meth but became a hardcore alcoholic because he needed something to drown out the pain from his inability to feel normal pleasure due to his dopamine receptors having been fried by daily meth use. I have great sympathy for those who have fallen into the stubborn grip of drugs. Too many people speak about drug addicts as if they deserve all the misfortune they get because they "decided to do drugs." Well, I can guarantee you nobody decided to become addicted and nobody is ready to deal with something that brings such an unnatural supply of pleasure and ecstasy. I'm not saying they aren't to blame but I do think a lot of people are very harsh and unfair toward drug addicts. Many of them find themselves trapped in a vicious cycle that they want to escape but don't know how.

I knew the masks were a farce the 2nd week of covid. Then watching ppl talk about how they feel more secure wearing them. Constantly adjusting the mask and touching their face. In my kitchen, u touch ur face, u wash ur hands. STRICT rule. I had zero incidents in almost 30+ yrs in my career. Lost my mother to cancer in May. SHE got covid too but it didnt kill her. She died from the cancer.

When ur probation/parole officer comes to ur house to make sure u doing what u supposed to be doing. i.e.: no drugs/alcohol or firearms in ur house, No people there that u not supposed to be around, home by curfew, make u do drug test…., make sure ur complying with ur conditions
