Case: Not My Brother's Keeper: Gerald Clipper I hate to say $30,000 was not enough money to be helping so call family members out, you did not win the Lottery. That money was from a accident that you went through on your job not them. You should have saved that money until YOU was in a better place.

A lot of these cases boil down to the person no longer has any of the money left and now wants a little of it back from someone, even family.

Case: Not My Brother's Keeper: Kenneth Clipper, It is so sad to hear you call your Brother the SCREW UP of the family on national Television. He wasn't a SCREW UP when he helped you out right?. Your brother don't owe you nothing. You was actually jealous because he had Settlement of ($30,000) which is not a lot of money. You had to bring him down to your level, by stealing from him. That was a DOPE MAN & SCREW UP MOVE on your behalf. Misery loves company.

He's still a screw up and every family has one. I have a drug head sister. I have custody of her kids, have bailed her out of jail, given her money, been through detox 5 times with her.etc. If she ever gets a large sum of money. Its half mine. Dealing with a dope head family member is hard. Not to mention theyll steal, rob and cheat to get high.

Landlords dream their place looks that good after the person leaves! That was basically move in ready! AND Judge didn't catch it, but the defendant said that her "Gardener was only to water" and she repeated herself twice, yet when they showed the picture of the backyard & the dead grass she said " yeah, she never watered it!". Ummm... I thought that you hired The Gardener to ONLY do just that?!? Lol, Oh well at least that poor lady got her money back. Evil landlord was just money hungry and knew she was wrong, just trying to scam yet another person. That is why you always take pictures before you move in and after you move out!

2nd case : " She was not authorized to take down the blinds".... um how else is someone supposed to clean those blinds? yes you can wipe down each strip, but to really clean them, you fill the tub with Mean Green and water, soak the blinds for an hour or more if really bad, rinse and air dry!. And seriously she took a picture of inside the drain, that's a nit picker right there not to mention trying to charge her for a few logs left behind for the fireplace in HER HOUSE

I have been watching judge Faith for awhile now. I have been surprised at how many families sue their family members. Not just cousins or distant family members, but brothers, parents, etc. Although I understand each and every case, I cannot imagine ever suing one of my own family members. I would simply let it go! Always! I may harbor some ill will, but I would still let it go!

Depending on the circumstances, some family members NEED to be sued so that they learn that their actions have consequences. Too many family members use and abuse their families without a care in the world and they need to look at their family members as PEOPLE - not just take them for granted under the excuse of "family owes me and will take care of me so screw responsibility" for example. Once again - not all cases, but some.

1st Case: If the plaintiff _accidentally_ tripped at his job, how is it the company's fault? If they didn't have worker's comp when they're _required_ to have it, he could sue but why sue otherwise when he's the one who tripped? If he lived in Texas at the time, it's possible the company he worked for didn't have worker's comp because Texas is the only state that isn't required to buy worker's comp. I'm not sure how he got a settlement out of his first lawsuit (if he lived in Texas at the time of the accident) since the company itself didn't cause the man to trip and get burned. SMH, people can sue for about anything, apparently. 2nd Case:

How was he burned? The brother GAVE him money then he turned around and stole money that he trusted him with because he felt “owed” for things he did before the money even came into play... “family” should stop doing things to help people then expecting repayment if you’re not doing it from the heart don’t do it.
