"The Stars Look Back At You", the theory, part 4 In case most of you didn't see the theories I've been putting on credit OSTs, I'll sum it up for you; Basically, Eyes likes to protect our lovable protagonists, and will punish anyone or anything that even tries to hurt them, even going as far as to control Pump when he can't come to help in time, and teach them about certain things so they know what they're dealing with and thus may be able to handle it on their own. He's not above testing their innocence and bravery however, as shown with Bob- if Bob actually played fair that is... This is a part 4 of that theory, focusing specifically on episode 6. A priest. Skid and Pump meet a priest this episode, who tries to indocrtinate them into acts of Christianity and things that comply with it by giving them the mentality that they have to. He's not a bad guy by any means, he's simply doing what he believes is the right thing to do; To fix these kids before they grow up "wrong". But Eyes doesn't like that. Sure, Gregor shows no signs of wanting to hurt the children in any way, and meant nothing but well intentions for them. But he shows signs of affecting them mentally, trying to make them think they are unloved so they WILL be loved if they do it his way. He restricts them, dragging them out of their Spooky Month festivities(which is already something Eyes loves, that's very clear to see in ep 2). And worst of all, his actions will be GAURENTEED to bring them into Christianity. And thus away from the things Eyes had planned for them since the beginning. Skid is the heir, Pump is the vessel(i explained this in part 1 of the theory, posted on friendly nightmares). They're NEEDED. They're HIS friends. They belong with him and him alone, that was already decided long ago. He hates the thought of them getting hurt.. But he hates the thought of them losing their way just as much. Which is why he, in control of Pump, mostly played dumb even around Moloch. Interrupting the exorcism with Skid multiple times, and even screaming for it to stop once it came out-of-hand. It's not that he likes Moloch by any means, after all Skid and Pump WERE almost killed by that same demon the last time they met. But this time, Gregor was their common enemy. For once, they'd share common ground, with both them AND Skid sharing a huge disliking for the priest. Which is exactly why Eyes let the possession happen. Pump's eyes were cyan when Moloch suggested possessing them, and yet he still AGREED to it, along with SKid. Not because it would be good for the kids really, but because it'd cause trouble for Gregor, and help to drag them back from the influence he put on them. I suppose this would be a "killing 2 problems with one stone" scenario. Moloch gets dragged back to hell, which stops the chances of him ever trying to kill the kids again. But Skid and Pump now also hate Gregor for "killing their friend", and now are most likely to not trust him. But as for Gregor himself... Chances can't be taken. Ignacio saw Gregor with the kids, and called up the rest of the cult, to bring him with them like they did in the episode. I'm unsure if Eyes kills the priest or not, but I like to think he didn't. After all, Gregor didn't hurt the children physically, and was overall just doing what he thought was right. Like a confused, lost soul, focused on the wrong things. So Gregor met Eyes...And finally saw what he'd been missing. In other news, I suppose I was right about the theives being in the cult. Either they're being paid to take things from Lila's house, specifically cult-related stuff, or they're already on thin-ice and thus are TASKED with stealing cult-related stuff from Lila's in order to make up for it. The dealer is a pleasent surprise to be in the cult, but it makes sense why he told the kids to give "sugar" to Kevin instead of giving them drugs now. And here is where I mention the spider and the mannequin. The manniquin is heavily implied to be possessed by Skid's father, but what about the spider? The spider may be related to Eyes in some way. In a doodle Pelo did with the spider, a drawing of Eyes wasn't that far away, and the bug-like limbs on Eyes' head matched the exact postition and number of the legs on the spider; 6. And the mannequin was drawn WITH the spider, looking up at it happily. ... Did I mention that the rings in the spider's eyes are cyan?

Sure, the fact that Ignacio has old photos of John in his house is confusing, it could mean that Ignacio is related to John in some way. Which if he is, holy crap And then there's the forest one, where the trees have eyes on them. This relates to my theory that Eyes can talk to people via trees to prevent driving them mad, which is based on the ARG book about the tree AND the forest scene from ep 5. But I haven't seen much interesting things other than that. ...mostly because it hasnt even been SOLVED yet lol

It's always great when you get to the credits of one of these episodes and hear something so good it had to have been the result of a deal with a demon.

((Kinda)SPOILERS FOR THE REST OF THE SERIES IN POST) Since I doubt most of the people didn’t watch the spooky month stream pelo did a couple months ago, Pelo revealed in that stream that Spooky month will go on until the tenth episode, with the stakes in each episode getting higher and higher as the episodes went on. As for why, he stated that, while he originally planned for 12 episodes, his friends told him that the stakes of the series already reached their peak at around episodes 8, 9, and 10; and there wouldn’t be much of anything around episodes 11 and 12 (he also cut it down to 10 episodes due to the time and cost of making each episode). He also revealed that certain episodes are connected in some way: for example, episodes 2 and 3 revolve around “monsters” (eyes and moloch) and episode 4 and 5 revolve around “killers” ( the doll and Bob); this means that episodes 6- 7 and 8-9 will have some sort of theme connecting them. He also stated( and this is a pretty big spoiler for the rest of the series; you were warned): The identity of Skid’s Dad will be revealed around episodes 9 and 10. That’s about all that was revealed in the stream. (Also, please be respectful towards Pelo and his direction for the series; he has his plan for HIS series and let him stick with it. I know most of you will, but I just don’t want to see people pressure him into continuing the series past what he originally wanted). BTW, This song kicks ass, amazing job Mastersword❤
