I really like this! Judith Durham was an amazing singer! Her voice truly embodied the art of Gospel singing! It went down deep within her soul!

Fantastic! Even if you aren't a fan of Jazz, but ARE a fan of Judith, you can really hear her pour her heart and soul into this type of music. It was her first love, musically speaking. Also, Ron is killing it on piano. They made a great team. Cuddos to you, Rich, for this discovery and for sharing it!

The photo is fromThe Benny Hill Show, broadcast on Thames TV on Wed 13th March 1974, but presumably pre-recorded at an earlier date.

She can sing anything. Nothing like I've her sing before, a very different sound for her. Thanks very much for posting this.

Judith singing. It doesn't get much better. The song has a kind of folksy/bluesy sound. Love it. What a talent Judith was.

What a voice! You knew it was her without even looking. So privileged she was from my era.

They ended the final encore at all their performances on the 50th anniversary tour with "Carnival". Most fitting.

I never really listened to any of her post-Seekers songs, but might start catching up now. I am not a great Jazz or Dixie fan, but Judith can obviously let anything sound exciting. Thanks

I was lately discussing with my dad about which female vocal artists we would consider to have the best vocals of all... Some names we mentioned but I felt like, I missed to mention one. As we ended the discussion and left it in the middle and I walked up the stairs I realized; how come I forgot Judith Durham is just number 1??

There's not much of Judith's repertoire that I didn't dig. I like this too - but this is one of those occasions where I think she overdid the vibrato just a little. Just a little. Missing her...
