When you mix vocals sometimes it’s better to use a couple of compressor that they all do a little bit instead of 1 that do a lot of compression. This way you’ll get a cleaner sound. In this video I used 2 compressor and the last one the multipressor it’s a multi band compressor so you can compress specific frequency so it’s almost use as an EQ. Thanks for watching!!!

a little over polished, i think if you removed the boost on the highs in the second eq and pulled ur saturation back a bit it would tame it a bit. also just out of curiosity, whats the purpose of cutting lows on the first eq only to boost them back in the second? seems rather counter productive

Thanks for watching and I appreciate your feedback, as for the lows, the lows I’ve cut in the first eq was to get rid of the floor noise and all the low end in the voice. On the second eq I did increase a little bit the lows to give back a bit of body in the vocals to not make them sound thin, but because the lows was fully cut in the first eq, by doing it this way, there’s no risk of bringing back the floor noise or any frequency problems back to the vocals since there were cut in the first place. If that make sense. Thanks again for watching!

😂 well when it’s recorded in a booth or any room with acoustic treatment it creates more low end in the vocals too , so even the best singer will need some good EQ and adjustment to merge the vocals with the beat so it’s not obvious it was recorded in a booth. But I get what you’re saying 😂 haha
