The gear shifter is still upside-down. Everyone says that it works fine, but from an aesthetic perspective, it won't do for some people.

We love the HyperScorpions we bought a month ago......the ONLY thing I don't love is seeing that they are now on sale to the tune of $800 less each than I just paid.....so I am basically down $1600 for the pair. That sort of hurts.

lol, they are electronic,thats one of the prices you pay for being first with electronic products, the other is you get to flesh out all the design flaws so they can fine tune the bike for later batches!

@@elevenAD No design flaws apparent, having a blast with our HS bikes, not a NEW company and based on the Scorpion design.....so we are find with most of that but I would have waited 45 days to save $800 per bike for sure.

nice Scorpion, I have an RCS and the same 1UP USA rack. you need the FAT Tire kit from 1up and you will be able to lock down the bars on the tires .

does hyperscorpion need to have license to ride on it? i live in California but im worrying if i need a license for it, cause it exceeds class3 e-bike requirement . Its more like a moped but maybe not

it has a setting to change it between class two and three and it has all of the stickers to be class two pretty much if it's in the class two mode it limits the battery and won't go over 20 mph so you should be fine

Got a Hyper Scorpion. Not for off road man- what are you nuts!!! It’s a step through soooo frame flex. Also you will eventually bend it and the front fork obviously would cave , too look at the brake set up. Duh! But if that doesn’t do you look UTuber vid for Hyper Scorpion off road test (I think that’s the tag) bike gets it done with out braking but come on? Look at the bike it’s a stunner rode ride just a awesome bike to road ride. Why destroy it? Makes no sense.

I believe you do in California and in Colorado. Here in Florida you wouldn't have to. So it depends on what state you live in.
