I am the guy he was talking about with the end stage renal failure from Atlanta. What he said was true, but there were a couple of other mitigating factors. I have a Tribest Green Elite that does a great job, I'm very happy with it. With my health conditions now, I decided that it would be best to look at vertical juicers and add that to the juice bar for the days when I'm on my own and don't have anyone around to help, because it's medical equipment, cleaning and other issues I have to contend with. This way, even if I'm having a tough day, I'll still juice. The idea was to keep consistent no matter what. So while some might deem it an extravagance, it stuits my particular needs perfectly. I have come to realize over time that Dr's are doing their best, but I used to take one or two pills. Now I take a bunch and I'm on dialysis. I just want to get healthy again. Good luck and best wishes to you all as you complete your own research and get healthy.

If you feed ice cubes in the pure juicer before your produce, it helps with the heat. I do that with mine. Feed ice cubes, produce then feed more ice cubes.

My wife got one of those High speed Brevels for her birthday and it works great for carrots and things like that but it’s ridiculously bad for leafy greens. We went down the rabbit hole and bought the NC800 from DiscountJuicers.com. Thanks for your passion John, it really is contagious.

Hi! thnx for your video! Could you talk more about the juices under vacuum? (min. 26:02). Thank you once again, you do a great job!
@myrnaloy42754 жыл бұрын
On storing juices can you fill a glass to the top and put a food grade silicone lid? Will that be the same as vacuum sealing?
@mgom76464 жыл бұрын
Myrna, you don't any vacuum bij just putting a lid of any kind on it. You have to suck the air out of it with a special machine to create a vacuum.
@johnkohler87114 жыл бұрын
will not be the same. I have tested this. Removing the excess oxygen is critical for longer storage. If you fill to the brim and seal,there will still be oxygen in there.

@johnkohler87114 жыл бұрын
Top two Juicers = Green StarPro is about 150 watts, so that would be a better choice. The pure juicer with a larger motor and hydraulic pump, uses more watts.

if you give me 3-4 days I can tell you the watts required to process carrots on a the VSJ843 and the Greenstar elite gse5000. i'll post here.hopefully I should be able to find this post again.

@@mashoutman hi VSJ843 = idle 90w , apple by itself 115w average with peak 135w..Carrot lowest was 130w but up to 230w very rare peak. Carrots were averaging about 150w going up to 190w quite often as it chewed. The 230w rare moments were when i fed it too much carrot. But it soon came back down to approx average 150w. After all the juicing was done it came back down to approx 90w reasonably quickly. This is from memory from about 5 mins ago. So we can see from the results that it all depends on how much fibre is in the screw/press, how much work is being done. I shall do the greenstar elite soon. the greenstar is a bit different as the user presses the food down hard with a prodding stick. So much of the energy needs to come from the humans elbow muscles. LoL. The vsj, explained above, the user does next to nothing, the VSJ does all the work for you.

I wish you would make up your mind. Every time I decided to buy one recommended juicer as being the right one, you come up with something else. Why should a particular juicer be for people with cancer. A good juicer should be good for any issue. Now answer me, what is an overall good juicer? Thank You!
@discountjuicers4 жыл бұрын
Each juicer has their own set of pros and cons. Its important to determine your specific needs and the style of juicer that will work best for your needs that you will actually use, and it wont be too difficult to clean (or use) . I do not know what is a good overall juicer for you as I do not know your specific needs or what you will be juicing.

I heard you say the champion juicer masticated the produce at 17000 rpm’s ..... you mean to say 1,750 rpms that’s a huge difference ... also enzymes and other vital nutrients begin dying off at 120 degrees Fahrenheit.. the champion juicer may get warm but never hot enough to kill living enzymes when juicing a lot of produce...it never reaches those temps not even close ... any produce begins oxidizing right away when broken down and exposed to air any juice made from any juicer should be drank right away after juicing that’s just common sense... the champion juicer is an excellent juicer and the 2000 model will juice greens that are chopped into small pieces and fed alternately with oranges lemons limes apples or pineapples I’ve used a champion juicer for over 40 years and as long as I clean the parts well immediately after juicing especially the screen it will probably keep working for life I did replace the cutter recently
