I used to manufacture clothes in Hackney East London and on occasion Kim worked for me doing some overlocking just as the girls music career was starting. I got to know both Kim and Mel and yes, they really were lovely girls in real life and deserved the recognition for their talents. Kim, if you see this comment it’s Steve and I used to be a business partner with Andy and we both had German Shepherd dogs, mine was Max and Andy’s was Kelly.

Quite often we will play their songs, especially FLM, in their honour. When post-covid travel opens up more easily, anyone reading this, you are welcome to come visit us here in HK and you can find me there on the decks. I'll have a toast with you to remember Mel & Kim 🥂🎩🎩🥂

@@tillymalone5322 Bear in mind that supply and demand is a LARGE factor. Loads of people complain about the press and still go out and buy the magazines/newspapers, they still watch their programmes and videos. A lot of celebs are complicit in this and choose to act up in public knowing that a camera is on them. Whilst what the press do isn't always right a lot of people that complain about them are the same ones that complain about the demise of brick and mortar stores yet go out and buy their goods on Amazon. Same ones that moan about the diminishing postal service but choose to send an email instead of a letter. The lack of self awareness all around is astonishing.
