Morning all! This should have been uploaded last week but the wifi connection wasn't great where I was staying so it had to wait. This doesn't show all of the snow that happened in the area during the following days. I was there for all of that wading through knee deep snow; catching fogbows and of course meeting Renegade Scott too! What's next? Possibly going to do something on being out there in those harsh conditions based on the experiences of last week. But until then do keep those comments coming!

Lovely scenery there and you have made some gorgeous images. Shame about the rain at the end but there is always another day. Thanks.

Thank you John! It is an amazing place. What was amazing was for most of last week there was hardly anyone there!!!

Very well done. Inspired me to go there soon. 3 sisters and water fall are lovely

Hi Jason. Comments like that only spur me on to create more vlogs. It's nice to hear that what I do is inspiring you and others :)

Excellent video. I am a sucker for panos so the pano is definitely my favorite but they were all beautiful. Thanks for sharing and for sharing your thought process as well.

Thank you Tony! I love panos too and it's something that I want to explore in a future vlog as I know people enjoy seeing them.

I love your explanation of the composition. Great vlog.

Thanks Mark! I presume you mean the waterfall deep in the valley? I thought it a good idea to include it as I know people like hearing our thoughts. I appreciate you stopping by to comment :)

Moody is right Julian. Really enjoyed the images and you sharing more of this splendid area. Safe travels and look forward to the next one. Cheers!

Thanks Miguel :) The next one might be based around some of what happened in the week after this was filmed. We'll see as I need to sit down and have a think.

Fantastic video Julian. Glencoe is one of my favourite spots when I visit Scotland. Hope your workshop was a success

Morning Jim! Just sat at my desk replying to comments when your popped up. It was indeed a success and we decided to cancel our travel plans on Saturday to stay that extra morning for the blue sky. It didn't get vlogged although there was that tiny segment with Renegade Scott just to see if we could live stream.

Thank you!!! Despite the weather it didn't turn out too badly. I wish I could have vlogged last week as it would have blown this one away :)

Thanks for that Randy! It's a shame I couldn't have vlogged last week. It was sensational with the knee deep snow!

Cold and miserable weather. But you managed to pull it off :)

It got better the next week but I didn't vlog it as I had a workshop. Should have done but hindsight is a wonderful thing.

Great interesting video! It's good to spend time exploring in the Glen on foot rather than speeding up and down the A82, as I always end up doing. Ha ha. Congrats.
@JulianElliottPhotography6 жыл бұрын
Indeed Alex! I've done those roadside shots and so this time more time was spent getting under the skin of the area.

Great vlog Julian, can you tell me where in Glencoe the waterfall was please?
@JulianElliottPhotography6 жыл бұрын
Hi Ian. Sorry I didn't reply earlier. The waterfall? If you mean the one down in the valley it's near to Jimmy Savile's old house. Do you know the area? I can direct you very easily :)

I want to go to scotland so bad! These are some great images. I notice there are almost no people.. is that normal? There's always crowds here in Japan no matter how remote you go :/
@JulianElliottPhotography6 жыл бұрын
Hi Sid. Well it can be full of people! On Saturday there was a six mile tailback caused by people trying to get to the ski centre. But at other times you don't see a soul!

Totally agree about the moody skies tying in with this type of location! It looks a little chilly at around 4:10 haha! I've begun filming myself on my own nature and landscape photography adventures too, would love it if you would check them out sometime and let me know what you think! Anyways, thanks for the video and glimpse into this location and your work. I'm subbing to your channel, and will look forward to more videos. Later!
@JulianElliottPhotography6 жыл бұрын
Hi Chris. How about I subscribed :) It's nice to see different areas and so you got a sub from me :) No idea why you haven't got more subs to be honest!!! Nice filming for sure :)

Thank you for the video Julian. Some really nice work in there! Will also run a workshop in Glencoe and Isle of Skye this coming April and hope to get good light! Have subbed to your channel. Should you have some time, please do check out mine as well. Would love some feedback!
