I absolutely agree. I saw someone comment on another video saying that it's like talking to a friend and that's exactly how it feels and I love it. It's just like your buddy explaining the stuff to you sitting in the living room I don't need all the production but if you decide to go that route I support you no matter what. The cozy rep is my fave channel he does the fucking home work man. I've seen similar titled videos to his that are 10 and 20 minutes long and his are three parts that are each an hour long lol some people don't care about the details.

You are incredible. I honestly hadn’t listened to NSN much after time travel was released, but every so often go back to listen to his older stuff (I still love Harmony and What is Love? quite a lot). I hadn’t known much about Christofer either, so this series has been incredibly eye opening. I’m definitely going to go binge his “newer” music, as you’ve shed such a cool and positive light on it all. I love that Chris was never your typical artist, and almost always stayed true to himself- even if he’d lost himself along the way. I love, admire, and respect the time and effort you put into this, and that it came from a true and honest fan that’s been following him for years. Props to you- you seem like such a cool dude and I’d honestly love to hangout with you. Keep doing your thang, you do it well!!

However my niece was a hardcore scene kid of this era. I wound up watching this whole series last night and really enjoyed it. I enjoy all things music and I really enjoy your take on it. I think I can get into anything besides maybe polka. There is nothing worse than someone who pretends to love music then boxes themselves into a certain genre and pretends others aren't cool or in because they listen or like something else. @@StoicDivinity No he's got a point. I am vegan and I can tell as much that being vegan by itself in a healthy way won't have that effect but going vegan suddenly while also taking heavy amounts of drugs is not exactly what you would call healthy. This is what happens when you do nothing but get high, surround yourself with people who do nothing but get high, and then try to have an adult conversation lol. Weed? Cool. The second you start doing copious amounts of psychedelics, that’s when your brain kinda starts falling apart. It’s clear that the dude was pretty much collapsing at the time of doing the Bryan Stars interview, and then these delusions of grandeur brought on by the attention really didn’t help anything. Dude was a kid, got handed all this attention and then tried to find ways to cope I think. Unfortunately it turned him into a cat…dog…person?

I never thought i would be so invested in the history of Never Shout Never but here i am and I’m now a huge fan. I’ve been listening to em non stop since finding ur series, and I’m sad i wasn’t into them when they were at their peek but alas i was into screams and electronic stuff. Love your passion !

Knowing the story behind my first and last NSN show in Mexico was awesome. I loved this series, you are an actual expert on the whole emo era, it's insane to me how in depth you go into the research or details you already knew. I will now refer to you as Professor Cozy lol. Thank you for making this kind of content, ever since I started watching your channel I've learned a lot about this nostalgic piece of history I thought I knew so well. Great job!

for me, his friendship with frindli quinnli was like the moment when never shout never kinda lost their way. i really loved the previous albums and eps, but chris changed a lot after he met and started to hang out w/ frindli (and also mod sun!). anyway, a funny memory. i went to all of his concerts in brazil (yep i was a huge fan, went to all of the cities they were playing with ian on the band) and i agree, they sounded SOOOOOOO NICE. i still love this band and personally love christofer for who he is. the last show here in brazil was so sad. he ended it singing the past. i remember crying all night and i could see he wasn't in a good place, he was clearly saying goodbye to NSN. but the truth is: i guess he's back and i think our buddy deserves another chance, he deserves that spot in our hearts. :)

just randomly found your channel earlier this week and have been binge watching a lot of your vids! but man this nsn series took me waaay back in the best way :') i was hugely into the nsn tumblr fandom from 2010-2013 and the first time i saw them live was at a show they did at a six flags in 2011 and ive seen them on every US tour they did after that up until the very last one! nsn was always very special to me in a way i would never be able to put into words; my first ever show, my first fandom, i found my first internet friends through chris. nsn was overall very much a You Had To Be There kinda thing and im very glad to have been a part of it! & i can wholeheartedly say that chris and his music shaped me into the person i am today (dramatic but true lol). hes kinda went to shit now lolllll but old nsn days are still nice to reminisce on every now and again :) great videos!!!!! they make me smile big !!!!!!!!

Just discovered your channel the other day and I have been eagerly waiting for this part 3. Loving your videos

Thanks for this three part series. I used to be a huge fan a few (apparently many) years ago and now I just recently found out that NSN doesn't even exist anymore. Because of your videos I've been listening to Harmony and Time Travel like crazy again and now I definitely will give Black Cat a chance, I don't think I've ever listened to it properly. All of this was very interesting and nostalgic. Really appreciate all the time and effort you put in to make these videos, it really shows. These are very informative and entertaining. You seem like a cool dude. Keep up the good work!

literally just binged the first two parts and the fact that the third and final part came out just as i finished them !!! it was fate. meant to be. i discovered nsn with can't stand it back in 2013, then i just listened to a handful of songs from different albums, mostly to what songs i came across, never really looking for them. but i did like them very much and still listen to them. after this series i'm definitely going to check out their discography. It was a fascinating journey. Thank you so much for all your work on these videos!!!

This has answered so many questions from my youth 😂 I was a huge fan of his and my very first time I got to see him live was during his apparent acid drop bad trip phase and the concert was lack luster and my image of him was ruined it sucked lmao. They all just seemed so unhappy to be there and I saw the bassist after the show and asked if I could get his autograph and he was so dead in the eyes and annoyed that I asked. Not that everyone is entitled to autographs and I’m sure they were tired but I would have rather him be like “no sorry I’m trying to go home but thanks for coming out” than that interaction 🥺

I saw NSN with Carter Hulsey at Toad’s Place in... 2009? I remember buying The Summer EP at the show and listening to it non stop on the way home. I still dig early NSN for what it is, bigcitydreams takes me back.
