I love your work! You work in wood rather than card board or foam. Your workmanship is exquiste!

Thanks Lavado. I prefer wood, it makes a more solid, longer-lasting piece. :)

Thank you so much for all your hard work in creating these tutorials, I have spent most of the lockdown creating furniture for my dolls house which I have "Backdated" to become a Victorian era home. I have created many of your pieces and been confident enough to create my own designs aided by your methods. Well done Julie, I have really enjoyed these last few months!

Julie, I've watched this several times because it is just magnificent! I googled images of "Welsh Dressers" .....real life Welsh Dressers.... and yours is my favorite! I'm working on your "Writing Desk" now from your Furniture book and enjoying the process. After that I want to try this. Thank you so much for your generosity in sharing your talent with us. I can't imagine the number of hours you have spent researching each of the pieces, figuring out how to scale it down to make it workable for us. THANK YOU!!

Thank you so much Beth, that really is lovely to hear. I'm glad you're enjoying making writing desk and hope you'll enjoy the Welsh dresser project too.

I do love it when your little friend visits. We don't have squirrels here in Australia. I vaguely remember the red ones from when I was a tiny little girl in Scotland, but that was a loooong time ago.
@JulieWarren7 жыл бұрын
You have certainly travelled a long way! We have so many of these grey squirrels in the woods at the back of our house. I counted five in our garden yesterday! :)
@joannecarroll55047 жыл бұрын
I have indeed ... many years spent travelling back & forth repeatedly between exactly the same places, failed attempts to settle anywhere because I miss everywhere LOL. I didn't know until recently that the grey squirrels were actually shipped in from America by some nobility for his forests. The 'clever' impacts us humans have made by importing into other ecosystems.

Joanne Carroll they have pure black ones in America that are a mutation & very pretty.I love her squirrel asking for nuts lol

Awesome! Miniatures have always fascinated me and the quality of your work is incredible. I only hope when I try this that I can be as successful. Oh and your little friend is soooo cute! I have both red squirrels and gray squirrels, among a variety of birds year round. One of my granddaughters first words was "quirrel". I hope that she will share my enthusiasm for miniatures as well. Looking forward to viewing your other tutorials.

Thank you Shannon. We have several of the grey squirrels in our garden - they've been coming to my workshop window for about three years now, and each generation just continues to come! I think they must watch their parents do it and look on it as normal squirrel behaviour! I hope you enjoy building the dresser.
