Darius Cole-Samuels Stratos going to 2 instead of one may not seem to matter at first, but with the new Vision Heroes, it is possible to turn Stratos into an easy link 2 and Destiny Hero Fusion monster through Stratos into Faris Granted it’s technically a 2 card combo since you’ll need any other hero monster in your hand to use Faris’s effect, but still, that’s pretty interesting if you ask me.

an evolving and ever changing Ban list is the one thing about Yugioh i feel has over a game like Magic The Gathering where there is a Ban list in Magic but it seems to rarely hit what needs to be hit (unless its truly degenerate) meaning it either Bans the card entirely or doesn't ban the card at all, There are a good number of cards in Magic now that if they existed in Yugioh they would be on the Ban list by its next update or sooner as an emergency update because they are that good and enable some out right degenerate play styles

2:21 Saryuja wasn't touched because you can just shuffle it back to use it again so limiting it isn't good enough and Guardragons are too new for Konami to want to "kill" the deck by banning it. With the hits they've taken ashing Elpy ends their turn four times out of five. Orcust can't set fog blade from deck anymore - the best they can do turn 1 is crescendo + babel with dingurisu and skeleton in gy so that's only 2 interrupts - that's fairer than decks like Impcantations getting out Herald of Perfection + Majesty's Fiend turn 1 and I don't see anyone calling for that to be banned. Hitting Metaverse makes it unsearchable via Lilith or Trap Trick meaning you now play 8 less copies of Mystic Mine - 9 if you count the Terraforming hit. This was a better alternative for Konami because if they banned Mystic Mine straight after release that'd be them admitting it's a dumb card and they don't want to admit that - so they do the next best thing.

Okay how does Chaos Emperor Dragon-Envoy of the End suck? It still wipes boards and hands and you're opponent will take anywhere between 1500-2100 damage on average. Who cares if you can't activate cards or effects. That 1500-2100 and then a direct 3000? Am I missing something? You can't compare it to what it use to be cause even with the restriction it's a good card.

Because it is sooooooooooooooooo easy to deal with, you have to spend a whole turn setting it up and then you need your opponent to have no negates and no floating effects to cockblock it. You can't really turbo it but it is decent as something to swing for game with after you use all your resources, kind of like a one of dragon's mirror for Z-arc in some dragon decks. It's a good destiny draw but not useful for making a board or extending a combo, cause you can't do both at the same time
