It's an extra long episode this month because there's just so much to update you on! We'll take a look at how the squash arches are doing, check in on the fish and I also share their new names as picked by you. The poly tunnel is bursting with crops and the wedding flowers are well on their way.

Gosh, I wish America would have allotments 's. They make so much sense for citizens to be able to provide food for their families. Organic food is quite expensive here. It seems as though growing your own food and teaching the next generation how to might make too much sense! I thoroughly enjoy your videos. So excited for your future and congratulations on your wedding. Have a wonderful day.

Looks great, weeds and all. I could hear the foxglove seeds falling, amazing what grows from the tiniest seeds. I haven't had any butterflies to speak of this season, I can count on one hand what I've seen. Wish I could swap some sun for rain, I'd love 3 - 4 days of a nice quiet steady rain.

I enjoyed your tour so much! I had my garden in fairly good shape, went to the beach for a week, came home to a jungle! I’m in West Virginia, USA. While we were gone there were high winds and two trees were blown down into our yard. Luckily they didn’t damage anything, just made a big mess. I also have a rogue squash. A friend gave me four buckets of donkey manure. I have been using it for compost tea around my tomatoes. A vine started to grow. And grow. AND GROW! I watched it as it as it slowly took over. It is a pumpkin. I think the seed was in the donkey poo. Now I’m asking myself why I let it grow. I do have one large pumpkin which has come under the fence. Again, I enjoyed your video, especially the flying snail! 😂 I’m excited to see your wedding flowers and wedding photos. Good luck with the battle of the weeds and unpredictable weather patterns. 💚

Your garden always looks so green and lush. I miss living in a wetter climate sometimes. Of course I was never able to grow cantaloupe then so there are trade offs. Now I've been harvesting beans, tomatoes, zucchini, kohlrabi, jalapenos and figs (yum). The work always seems less tedious when there are good eats at hand to pick. I look forward to your garden tours so keep them up. Of course if you miss one this fall I wouldn't blame you.

Been there -please pace yourself. When it comes to wedding planning it's easy to overload. Don't let the "I can do that" ruin your big day - delegate. Find professionals or friends that can become gate-keepers to keep you sane and on track. It's horrible to arrive at a wedding emotionally exhausted, where cherished moments end in a blur . Your garden is wonderful, not just because its beautiful but a great place for reflection; drink a cup of tea and clear your head. The day itself is a only the beginning, please don't allow expectations of any kind ruin the experience. Believe me - It's a hard lesson to learn - love the channel.

Always inspiring. Can’t wait to see your dahlias in bloom. Sometimes the garden can get away from you when the weather is bad. But it’s great when you get time to get in there. Here’s hoping you get a perfect Indian summer. I try and design my garden to be low maintenance - use lots of tubs, pots and high raised beds. It’s been wet, windy and frosty here in South Australia. My spuds got whacked by the frost - but no worries I just ate them early. My new lemon tree got hammered too - we’ll have to see how that goes. Grew Romesco Caulis for the first time. You should try them - they are amazing !! Thanks for another awesome video.

What a lovely diversion from storm Antoni🙂. Can you brace your arched trellis with strong string in x x side to side fashion, it would stop sideways movement. Suppliers make mistakes, the rhubarb root I bought from Homebase in the spring isn’t as described. It’s turned out to be a Chinese rhubarb - not very happy. You’ve got to be 5 9 at least 😀

Your squashes are looking great - fingers crossed the frames will hold! Perhaps a friend with bigger bras could help? 😁 I haven’t done well with squash this year - I sowed loads of them but I think there was an issue with the compost I used and they either didn’t germinate, or the seedlings died, or if they survived that they got eaten by slugs and snails! 🐌 What I do have instead are a lot of volunteer squash that may or may not be pumpkins - they emerged from compost I dig out of my hot bin and now I have about 10 of them! Fingers crossed they are edible and not one of those dodgy bitter ones that sometimes happen 🤞🏻

I'm surprised how behind your chilies are. Did you sow them late? Iv'e already had crops from my Jalapenos, which subsequently suffered from spider mites for the second year running. I had a great crop from my over wintered Masala plants, which also then sadly got the mites. My habanero have now started to fruit and thankfully, touch wood, seem to be free of the dreaded mites but I'm keeping a close eye on them. Great video as always. 😃
