I appreciate your comment and can really relate to it. I've been stalled and dealing with disability which has made gardening incredibly painful, and I have no grass and just gardens. I was feeling very depressed and almost ready to give up and then came across a FB group of fans (Garden Answer Groupies) and then these videos. Watching these videos it's like my brain cleared and I know what I need to do to finish the gardens. And I've had knee replacement surgery too which has helped considerably for me to get mobile again.

Oh honey .... a deer! That's just the scout. She'll be back with the rest of the family now that she found your oasis. Doug said to tell you to be saving your money for an 8-foot deer fence! All jokes aside I hope she keeps moving far, far away. I wish you could see all the pretty things they have eaten to the ground here. Ugh! Last week it was monkey grass of all things! I love the long garden tours. Thank you for what you do. I am praying often for Kimi and that precious family. God is a miracle worker. I am trusting Him for complete healing. Sending love to your sweet family. Happy Gardening!! Kathann

Hi Laura, Couldn’t stop myself from writing this comment. I will be more than happy if you could read this. I am following your KZbin videos from past 1 year. I feel privileged for having subscribed to your channel. I am truly inspired by your gardening skills and passion. Your gardening videos make my day and help keep my gardening interest. Your videos guide me in understanding how important it is to take into consideration the plants growth requirements like sunlight, water while planting in a particular location, how to keep check on plants health, identification of problem and remedy if there is any issue. I am really thankful to you for sharing your gardening experience, ideas, projects, as well as failures😉 with us. I request you to share all gardening videos even if you think its less important or smaller project because for us there will be definitely something to learn in them. Deer incident was lovely in this video. Can’t wait to see the video on irrigation project. Thanks Aaron, all videos are captured very well and it seems as if I am watching a story, perfect cinematography. Feels good to see glimpse of cute little prince, Benjamin, every now and then. About me: I am a software engineer living in Bangalore, India and passionate about gardening.

I just want to say thank you for doing this vlog! It's SO helpful! I added so many plants this year and a few of them started yellowing so much. I was worried about them dying, but then I saw your vlog about chlorosis. You saved my new lambs ears and butterfly bushes! I was ecstatic when I saw them bounce back in the weeks after I added iron tone. I think a few more could use it now. Thank you so much!!

To help mowing under trees my dad has a robot lawn mower! It’s soooooo quiet and sooo fun to watch do its thing and it’s small. If someone tries to steal it it has an alarm and code and it mulches the grass making it greener when there’s little rain. It goes out by itself every day or so keeping the grass down :)

Laura, you could put up a two hour video of a tour of your garden and greenhouse and we would all be thrilled to watch it! My barely gardened yard means I live vicariously through your videos (and also, goals). I do want to share though! I thought I was the doomed gardener! Not even a black thumb, an actual death thumb lol, I’ve killed cacti for crying out loud 😂. Then I stumbled on your channel one day at the beginning of the year and I realized ALL the things I was doing wrong (the biggest one being I wasn’t using potting soil). Through your channel I also found calikim and from there I now have an array of different flowers blooming in my hot and humid NC heat, a lot of which are on my uncovered porch which makes it hotter. But I also am thrilled I have an actual garden!! I’m growing two different squash plants, two zucchini, ten okra plants, and five different types of peppers and they’re all doing wonderful! If it wasn’t for finding you, I would’ve never known my potential, so THANK YOU!!!! Watching your videos and seeing your family (including Russel) has been a joy! Thank you for what you all do!!

Your Weeping Willow just brought back some memories for me. It is beautiful by the way. I used to dance with my Nana's Weeping Willow when I was younger and it was always so magical. Gooodmorning! I couldn’t waite to sit down and watch once I saw tour on notification! I haven’t even gone out to my garden lol. Laura it’s sooo beautiful! I love the different types of hydrangeas you have added. I really hope the light limes like the spot you picked for them they are really tough. We have been experimenting with different panicle hydrangeas in full sun in our zone 8a and so far so good tons of growth and flowers. The denim and lace we planted is doing well here it’s loving it. I love how your allysum has taken off. We planted ours in the beginning of spring and it got huge and did amazing as the hot weather arrived it started scorching the back ones are still hanging on we will try again in the fall once it cools. On the beginning of video I love your choice of plants that verbena is beautiful. I had to do the opposite with the Pricilla and Bordeaux lol.
