I never want the videos to end. Thank-you Garden Answer for these many years of enjoyment. I commented years ago that I hope to live long enough to see your property mature; like your parents' place, it will, and already is, a piece of paradise.

My feelings also. Especially during last year as I battled four surgeries and eventually lost my leg below knee. I keep pushing to be able to get out this coming Spring and start on my landscape which didn't get its usual fall clean up. I knew I was to have three surgeries, at some point it came in August, ended in September. I set about planting so many beautiful plants, two were the prairie fire grabapple trees. Then ordered twelve David Austin roses. Everything was looking great in August. My husband did his best everyday to keep everything watered. I can walk on my prosthetic, but had to have several adjustments. Hips hurt terribly ,maybe now that will stop. Outside terrain is so different, so I am slower right now getting around Outside. But with time I'm told it will become second nature once again. Watching Laura gives me that extra push I need. I don't have or never will have the space she does, but my gosh it's enough to have to take care of. I hope a lot of the younger generation would watch one or two of her videos, they to would become hooked on the pleasure it brings in growing something beautiful. Love those geraniums.A plant I always grew in a container, but the beauty of them in the landscape is just breath taking.

One of my favorite things about you Laura is how your not afraid to do little “experiments” because I think it takes away peoples fear of making mistakes when gardening and encourages us to think more creatively about different options for things. I really appreciate that about you.

While watching today’s video I started thinking about the things I have learned from watching your videos. While none of what I am listing is earth shattering all of these ideas have made such a big difference in my gardening experience. The most helpful item was learning about the Power Planter Auger! It truly has been a game changer. I started with the five-inch auger. Then I learned about Gardening With Creekside thru your video when they came to help you (I am only a little over an hour from the Creekside Nursery). I did a demo at Creekside and moved up to the taller nine-inch auger. Felco forever! I have spent so much money buying junk pruners from the big box stores (the last one broke the first time I used it). I realized that the cost of the Felco was cheaper in the long run. I gave my son (a budding new gardener) a Felco Pruner along with the Care Kit for Christmas. That little green planting tray has been so nice. I do most of my potting in my kitchen and this tray has been so helpful in keeping the soil where it belongs. Also, the trick of wetting down the soil before putting it in the trays has been really helpful. And lastly, so many of the sites tell you to clip off the extra plants in each cell to allow one main one to grow. I like watching her separate the plants and move them to individual cells. Even if they all do not make it you are still ahead for any of them that do live. All in all, besides learning about new plants (I discovered, Gaura; Lemon Coral Sedum; Desert Orchid; and so many other new plants) from watching her daily video, it is just a fun way to start the day.

Very satisfying video....we have a foot of snow here in Kansas and the kids haven't been to school all week. My husband is a rural mail carrier and Monday he was told not to come in because the roads were so drifted over. I love watching you seed plants because it reminds me that spring is coming. The geraniums I grew from seed last year are tucked under flannel sheets in my greenhouse. Last night the temperature was 4 degrees but if I can keep the temperature above 35* in the greenhouse everything will be okay.

🌱Ever since the 1990's when I worked in a garden center greenhouse, my favorite geraniums are the brilliant violets - I fell head over feet in love at first sight! A close second is the beautiful peachy salmon geraniums. Add the color purple to the mix and it makes a trio for my garden palette. Here in Minnesota, the temp is -1, but I'm longing for Spring already. Starting seeds will fill in the gap with the scent and feel of soil. It's heavenly to a gardener! 🌱🌱🌱

I have never been a fan of geraniums..until I saw one in a beautiful nursery near Salem Oregon. It was multi colored with pink and purple and white. Gorgeous! It looks great with just about everything you plant with it . Was not able to over winter it, 😢and took several years to find it again, hopefully it survives this winter, and I can replant again .

Dear Laura, thank you and Aaron for all you do and share. Never disappointed! You have inspired me to try planting the bullseye salmon geraniums from seed! Yikes! I pray that it all works out. You said they are easy to grow. As you say, "we'll see what happens"! By the way, Benjamin and Samatha are the sweetest children. Love ya'll

The artichokes would be super pretty in the big pots with big tops.

I'm in Ohio and we don't have snow. We get flurries but just cold. It's 29* here this morning Laura loves playing in dirt. Glad Russell is feeling better.

I’m in Ohio as well and we got 8” of snow the other day with more on the way this week 🤦🏻‍♀️and we’re sitting at 18 degrees this morning. I keep asking myself why I still live here 😂

What part of Ohio are you in? I’m in Ohio and currently have 6 inches on the ground! I have friends just north of here who have nearly 2 feet of snow.

Haven’t gotten all my fixings yet but will be planting soon. Just can’t get over how few seeds there are in each package these days and how much more they cost. Makes one even more careful getting them off to a good start. Thank you for showing us the way!!

I could practically feel the dirt as you mentioned how getting your hands in the dirt was your favorite thing. 😊 Watching you use your knife to make holes for the seedlings made me laugh.

❤😂 You put the columbine babies in pots together. Hooray! My dream. I'm going to try this again this year but use your method and start with seedlings.
