I find it interesting you use spinning reels. What are they and what pound line do you use?

Hi Kurt thanks for watching and I'm glad you enjoyed this halibut action! Yes I like spinning reels for halibut jigging - it promotes an upward "pull" motion vs. the "push" motion of conventional. I have both styles of reels on my boat. We run 80lb PowerPro braid. Tight lines! Captain Zac

I'm in a 210 Sea Runner (2019) with a full hard top bulkhead and extended transom (225 Honda main and 9.9 Honda kicker). Sounds like you've got a similar setup - I bet it fishes great down in Oregon!
