Jumper T20 Gemini ExpressLRS Transmitter

I have both a CNC Zorro (which I love) and TX16s (which has great gimbals and controls), but after testing my new T20 for about a month, I have packed both of the Radiomasters into their cases and plan to sell both in the spring. The T20 has a combination of great ergonomics (like the Zorro), controls that cover my quad AND plane preferences (like the TX16S), better antenna and 1W internal ELRS (like neither RM's) - all in the same conveniently small package. I'm simplifying my flying and saving $$$.

Its 500mw not 1w. Ya there are two but both are still just 500mw. Them trying to add to two powers together to advertise as 1w is misleading.

i have this t20 gemini, but why my output power on screen, it max at 500mw ? and yours show 1000mw ?

You said that the new Gemini Version has only 500mW Outputpower but in the ELRS Menu you set the power to 1000mW. In my ELRS Modules it is only possible to set a value witch is supported by the elrs Module. Is the Radio maybe possible to output 1000mW?

That was an error is the FW that’s now been fixed. The hardware can only do 500mw.

Did they fix the bad usb charging? (not working with fast chargers at all, and only charging at 5v 0.8amps)

interesting radio. Im looking at the Boxer pretty hard. both have a lack of switches that I think I want for INAV, but the programable buttons at the bottom might suffice.

The boxer is such a great transmitter. But the boxer max is just next level.

@@markitzero7408 Im thinking INAV function. buttons or momentary can be used for some things. but ALT hold position hold waypoints etc. a few extra toggles would be helpful. I had to move my beeper off the same toggle I use for turtle, so I could add an OSD profile in that position. (thats another story)

I want a gamepad radio that doesn't have some terrible flaw. Zoro has crap switches, and batteries, Tango2 doesn't have a module bay or support OpenTX, X-lite has tiny gimbals, T-lite just shuts off while using the module bay. On and on, they're all junk! Where's the Zoro2 and the Tango3? This has to be the most neglected part of the market!

After all these years I was not aware that the AG in that AG01 stands for a manufacturer cause I had thought it was simply a part from radiomaster called AG01. I have radiomaster and jumper radio and might be willing to move ahead for a gemini transmitter cause I guess it can make a difference for not much more money . I am torn again and I guess I will wait to fully understand the benefits and if there are downsides. I like to have a strong radio and therefore went for Crossfire just 2 years ago with a kit of a radiomaster, the crossfire transmitter and 3 receivers. The only downside I feel from time to time is a different behaviour on the edge when turning, I mean of cause flying a glider or plane cause then the signal might feel lost for a fraction of a second and in such cases the gemini should kick in and pay off. But still not sure nor 100% convinced so I will watch the upcoming gemini content and also look for the previous video you had mentioned and I am sure have missed that cause you had mentioned the frequence analyzer and I can not remember that. Happy new year, even though maybe a bit late cause I am not sure if I havent wished you a happy new year on the video from new years day if I remember right which was not my cup of coffee but I press like, write a comment just to keep the video and channel rolling. I guess it will become another tough year if you are able to make me rethink if I am on the right path with crossfire and of cause a bit usual elrs but no gemini at all. I had used crossfire as frsky replacement and then used cheap ordinary elrs receivers and transmitters to simply play around on the bench more or less and put it into 1 plane for testing only. Worked out, but I do not want to mess things up between the radios and transmitters and prefer a clean and simple configuration or setup. But this video seems to show an opportunity or has radiomaster released something comparable meanwhile which I might have over looked in the past 3 months ? I hope you will make the 50k before we are searching for easter eggs - this year of cause.

I love my t20 it ticks all the boxes it's not too big not to small full size gimbals are a must the game pad style ore ok but full size gimbals are where it at

Giant Ant Cowboy had some video interferences at 1w… and went through his worst area with 100mW with just a blip in LQ from 100 to 99….

Was he on HDZero? Seen alot of issues where 1watt ELRS interfers and HDZ recommends lowering your TX power on ELRS

Yes flash non LBT EU firmware and you will have full output. The hardware is the same.

Just because many of us prefer the TX16s doesn't mean the T20 is bad. The large color touchscreen is nice particularly when programming the radio but many people don't look at their radios while flying.

I use the screen one the radio to set it up once and don’t need it again. The oled on these is more than “enough” to be able to use it. Many people have started to do some really cool mods with this rc.

I love the boxer so much. I'm just kinda irritated they released the boxer max some time after I got the boxer when it was newish. But you can buy the cnc parts and leather grips and carbon fiber front plate that the boxer max has.
