Moving up to the nicer gigs! Same story no matter where you go though. Ha! You need to start keeping an inventory of 2" filters on the truck with how many people keep throwing the small ones in! Nice job yet again! Keep up the great work, good sir! Give a high five to Christian for all his help and support too! A+ work you two!

Good video bro. That water port is called a Winters port. Takes special gauge so you can gauge up and check water pressure

Your videos have also helped me alot in my transition from resi to commercial.

Top quality workmanship! I would expect nothing less JMT.

get a Milwaukee wet/dry battery powered vacuum and suck from the very end of the drain, tape or cover vent near unit. no cutting required. the small caps on condenser water line are for temperature probes to check water td when commissioning units. always put isolation valves back to same position they were in before you close them. water going through too fast doesn’t remove heat

That’s what she said.

the fitting on the strainer is called a petes plug also known as a P/T port. Its for taking pressure and temp readings to determine your gpm water flow and temp split through the water side HX. Heat of rejection and heat of absorption can be determined by using these ports, should have one on the return as well. Youll need to buy special adapters to take pressure readings on these ports. Its a small 1/8th inch needle with a pressure gauge on it. important to have .

You bring "fresh air" (no pun intended) to an industry plagued with mediocre service techs

Great tip using nitrogen to blow out the lines! Can you make a video on filters as well? Example - sizes and types?

units suspended like this with spring mounts up top and cushion mounts at the unit are notorious for settling over years leaving the entire unit pitched incorrectly for draining. Ive had to re pitch many over the years. The springs get weak and the rubber cushion mounts get disformed over time

That was some nasty goop in that drain pan.
@bryanswanson5007Ай бұрын
put a vacuum on the drain at the end where it drains into floor drain. It will suck everything rite out,then pour a bunch of water in the pan. Its usually the best way, just make a good seal with the vacuum hose on the end of the drain line, they actually sell adapters to fit all vac hoses and all size drains all in one adapter. I think i got mine from true tech tools.

Come on bro that condensate took too long to clean ! Note how about a union instead . Also how about using a gallo gun instead of juggling that nitrogen tank
@josemartinez-jt6twАй бұрын
Hes obviously milking it getting paid by the hour
@nathanielcastelletti1544Ай бұрын
Gallo gun might not cut it on a line that long, for something that long the constant pressure from nitrogen will work alot better to push all the shit out

I have been in residential hvac for 8 years and recently got a job in commercial hvac 3 weeks now. Can you either explain or make a video of where to place temp probes on wshp. Wshp is a common system I work on.

@@austinkraus756 I ment line temp probes for subcool and superheat
@austinkraus756Ай бұрын
@@terrancedesormeauxjr2559 subcool comes from the liquid line superheat comes from the suction line. Put the temp clamps near the gauge ports
@maxcooper327721 күн бұрын
What he said^ put temp clamps as close to the service ports as possible on the same line
@GDMuro1816 күн бұрын
You want your high side clamp after your condenser coil for sub cool and the other clamp on your suction side for super heatI like after your evaporator coil but by port closer to compressor is ok

Why in the hell would you have a heat pump in a switch room? Makes no sense.
