Research shows that if you take one sense away it can help to increase the sensitivity of your remaining senses. For example, if you remove vision then your sense of hearing might be more acute and vice versa. In addition, while removing either sense you might be more aware of your sense of touch, specifically your feet making contact with the ground.
In this video, Shana demonstrates how to jump rope while eliminating the sense of vision and then the sense of hearing. The results will be different for each person, but we think it's worth giving this a try.
Just make sure you're in a safe space where there's no chance of tripping and falling or being struck by oncoming traffic.
