Have done 3000 jumps per session for a week now, completed today in under 1800 seconds. All this on two artificial knees, bilateral replacement in September 2014. JRD has motivated me to get back my life; for me, daily workouts and eating sensibly go together.

I just started jumping few days ago before that I was doing jogging everyday for about 30min with some other exercises. Let's see how effective jumping ropes are as it seems more comfortable and can be done in a small place. I did 1000 jumps today (100x10 sets with 45 sec interval in-between) with proper posture as mentioned in one of your beginners video my calves started burning like hell tho so now taking some rest and getting ready for the evening I hope I atleast reach an average good looking body shape. Thank you for your hardwork and introducing people to this. 77 kg now.

@@PrincessAisha2006 Avoid rice and fast food. Rice twice in a week is fine. Ur normal food is fine but a small amount. I started at 1000 jumps per day as I had little experience. Then increased it to 2000 in 2 weeks. U can start at 500 per day and increase it every week.

Shin splints can occur in diff areas of the shin. Sometimes the front or the side. A lot of things take into effect. The type of shoes, the surface you're jumping on, or if you are taking rest days from jumping. It can all add up.

Does anyone else get really bad foot pain when jumping? I’m not sure if it’s my shoes or sensitivity but I can jump for about 10 mins straight and then after that I get this really bad pain where I can barely stand. I push through the pain but it’s really affecting my workout intensity because I have to take a lot of breaks to relieve tension. If anyone has this problem or has any tips please help me out!

There's no easy answer, unfortunately. it depends a lot on your specific metabolism, body size, heart rate and athletic level. You can look up some free calculators online and there's a few different apps that can give you a good estimate of calorie burn.
