3 years ago we had baseball sized hail. I still have 2 in our freezer in garage. We had only been living here 2 years and had just started adding to the garden area. Needless to say we lost lots of tender plants. What the hail didn't take out the roofers did when we had to replace roof. There were cars that insurance totaled because of damage. In all my life I had never seen anything like it and I thought it would come through the roof. After recovering from that the deer decided to see how they could help destroy stuff too. That is when I found you. WOW what a difference you have made to our landscape. I am doing things I never thought I could do. That is why everyone loves you so much. You bring out the best in all of us.

THANK YOU! For being vocal about NOT messing around with trees that are not healthy and need to be taken down. Trees can pose risks to children playing under them or adults seeking shade. The head trauma or physical injury to an individual from falling tree limbs can be great and it does happen. Thank you for being firm about removing unhealthy trees.
@katediy45635 жыл бұрын
And the property damage...though that's what insurance is for. I was just noticing my neighbors' enormous maple tree is probably close to toppling. From my vantage point, I see a rotten hollow area I suspect squirrels have made their home because their dog runs to that area and barks, and though many huge branches have fallen on their house (and mine) over the years, this looks like half the mature tree could fall my way. I'll have to show that to them.

Oh yeah for Cheddar and Russell! I think we will be enjoying some cat 🐈 antics in future videos 😊. Everything is looking great even with the hail damage. Oh my that Smoke Bush, I want one so bad! I love the drone arial shots, puts everything into perspective . Keep up the good work.

I really enjoy your garden tours. Two of my grandchildren, ages 2 & 4, like watching too and want to have potted plants at their house. This nana is going to do my best to get their flower bed fixed with pretties for them. Of course they will need to remind mommy and daddy to help water them so they don’t die.

God's best to y'all and keep up the amazing work. I'll be praying for your mulberry tree. I hope it is just that one area that is struggling and not the whole tree. It is such a beauty! Laura, I have do say this... Thanks for the aerial at the end. It helped me understand the different yards within your property. Love it. Even though your land is flat, you have done a great job making it not feel like so. i live in az and am slowly working with my 1/3 acre. My trees and shrubs are in. I have burms all around, so I have lifted areas. Now for filling in with annual flowers. I took what you said once about having places to sit in my garden to heart. I made rooms with my yard and have chairs and benches to take in the different landscapes. Can't wait until the trees get super large for the shade. Working on a park like atmosphere.
