Thanks for the video i used to take my family to silver lake a few times a year and it's my kids favorite place that we camped they used to like wading in reverse creek and collecting lures that other fishermen would lose in the brush. Another time we were fishing in almost the same place you were and heard a loud noise echoing off the canyon walls and watched as a herd of horses was coming down the road being herded by cowboys. My kids were on year round school and we always went up there in October they are all grown up now but we will always have fond memories of going there and so will you Thanks for the wonderful video

We''ve loved going to Silver Lake every year since 1955. Caught tons of fish there and stayed in that campground when it was just a dirt road and grassy open spaces between the bushes. There used to be wild blueberry bushes there that we and the bears ate. We've stayed in the Silver Lake cabins, too. October 2022, I caught my personal best trout at Silver Lake near the general store, an eight pound brown trout male with a huge hooked jaw, and in full spawning colors. Took my kids there many times, as they grew up, just like your kids. You made a great video that reminded me of our kids!

I group there in a few years park next to the dam and when they old enough let them hike down the stream I've caught more fish in my life down that stream

We usually hang out and fish on the shoreline where we can access from the Silver Lake Campground - between site number 18 and 23 mostly.
