I think it’s because the other guys weren’t properly acknowledging that they heard and understood what he was saying. Adam got confused because the working title for George of the Jungle during its filming was actually “Jungle 1 Jungle” and was intended to be a prequel to Jumanji. Honestly the Jungle cinematic universe is surprisingly deep.

oh wow thats crazy! i saw the movie (what now turns out to be little indian big city) as a little kid in russia and a year or so later i moved to US and i saw Jungle 2 Jungle in theatres and i told everyone i saw this movie year+ ago when i was in russia. And everyone thought i was BSing cuz it had JUST been released in theatres. Since then i always wondered what happened there. I thought maybe it came out way early in European markets or something? But now it all makes sense.

Crazy thing about Jungle 2 Jungle is that they actually flew the cast and crew down to southern Venezuela to shoot the first third of the movie. The logistical nightmare that would have been and how that would have affected the budget would have been huge. All for what amounts to one of the shittiest movies to have ever been made.

Little Indian Big City (Un indien dans la ville) is the original movie. Jungle 2 Jungle is the American remake. Another one for you, True Lies is a remake of another French movie called La Totale. It’s weird to me that some American kid saw Un Indien dans la ville with Mimi Siku.

Hearing them say the same thing multiple times in multiples different ways was exhausting. (don't get me wrong any one riff in isolation is funny). But in rapid sequence it was like watching multiple takes of a single scene in a movie. I guess that is why actors all seem to go crazy.
