France absolutely deserved it -- people were just in the mood for something light-hearted that was colorful and made you smile, and both France's video and staging supplied that in spades, and Valentina was just so sweet the whole way. I think Georgia did deserve higher, but I felt like she didn't need the dancers with her -- I think also the "let's release the song really close to the contest" strategy can be a double-edged sword. It buffers an artist/country from generating a lot of criticism for what fans don't like about an entry...BUT it also ISN"T a lot of time for an artist/country to generate HYPE for an entry (and also maybe the choice of outfit Sandra wore was a head-scratcher for some?). Overall it was a great show and I think no one should be disappointed with how they did, this whole group was just really nice and personable. I really hope Germany doesn't drop out because of this result..

About results: 12. Germany (totally underrated but was a clearly bottom 3 song, once again a new country finish last) 11. Serbia (was a clear bottom 3 song too... Still don't understand how France gave them 12 points) 10. Russia (I mean with only 12 songs this was not that good) 09. Poland (I'm shocked, totally underrated but the staging was a bit messy. I was thinking of a 4th place for them) 08. Malta (I was wrong about this one finishing 8th, yes it was so underrated but it isn't in the Bottom 3 YES) 07. Ukraine (I'm so happy for the 7th place, I thought it would have finish in the Bottom 3 but no YES) 06. Georgia (Still not a big fan, was a deserved place) 05. Belarus (Totally underrated, only 4 points and she would have been 3rd ! But I'm happy with the jury results) 04. The Netherlands (One again so overrated, was a predictable televoting favorite, but a jury favorite wtfff) 03. Spain (I mean this was a clear favorite song. Deserved place) 02. Kazakhstan (I was right with this one too !! Totally deserved omg) 01. France (For me it was a Battle between France, Kazakhstan and Belarus and France win. I had a doubt with jury results before the show but after seing her first I knew she was going To win !)

I love Valentina’s song so much but her victory is very questionable. I know she is a great singer but her performance was clearly Playback. Same with Belarus and Russia. I think this is not fair especially for Spain and the Netherlands who had to sing while dancing and for the Ukrainian boy who clearly had a hard time hitting the high notes. I know that Even without play back the results would have to probably being the same but Just the fact that three entries weren’t live makes you question the legitimacy of these results and the credibility of the contest.

I still can’t believe my country won an Eurovision contest! 🥳Here is my thoughts on this year's JESC! I was happy that France gave the 12 points to Serbia. The votes from French jury sound very fair to me. I think that Serbia is the most underrated country this year. I was also very surprised by Ukraine! Moreover, the song from Kazakhstan wasn't a bop for me but the staging was incredible. Personally, I voted for The Netherlands (was so much fun), Russia (gave me Disney vibes) and of course France. To be honest, I was kind of disappointed by the staging of Spain despite I love Palante (same for Poland and Belarus). Finally, and to conclude, I would like to come back on one point. In my opinion, French jury votes are not strategic. French jury has taste! Remember, in 2018, the French jury gave 12 points to Poland. Poland won the contest with at least 12 points more than France. Last year, France gave 10 points to Poland and 8 points to Spain. Anyway, this victory is so refreshing despite this pandemic! France has not won an Eurovision contest since 1977. It's crazy!
