Pam: I felt this video was a very important one. Why? -because you started to touch on the psychological thinking behind junk journaling. This is something I’m very interested in. I’ve watched many of you for about 3 years now. I have not only learned a lot from all the creativeness, but about human nature. There are stories here! There is a lot behind junk journaling. It seems all of you are talented, have a loving nature and want to share. That is part of the beginning of the story. This alone, in our world today, is even more important than ever. It’s such a peaceful place to be. I thank you for your attitude, talent, enthusiasm, and sharing. Wonderful gifts to share with friends. Carol from California

There is something so calming about working with found items, things that most people toss in the trash. I pick something up and "tuck" it away for future paper therapy. The final product may not be a work of art but the happiness and calm it provided me for however long no one can say one negative word against!! ❤️

Hi Pam! I work at a local hospital and in some areas get packages and they have the brown paper in them, and they are so nice let me have it. I tell them all that the brown paper is gold to me. Sometimes I pull some of the white paper off the exam beds and have that too...yes its clean..lol I get their cracker boxes, candy boxes, etc and its so free for the taking...its so fun to get stuff from co-workers and reuse it. Have a great day and craft with reckless abandon.

Pam, this is a great chat. I’m a lifetime scrapbooker, but always liked to include pockets, tucks and surprise elements. I haven’t done one in quite some time, and now I am beginning my junk journal journey. You are spot on about photos! Earlier this year my closest childhood friend passed away, and I was given photo albums, postcard albums, bags of lace, boxes of letters, old books of all kinds, telegrams and so much more. I’m making two journals right now, one for me to remember my friend and our friendship, and one for her brother - about growing up with his older sister. Old report cards, school photos, memorabilia from high school days, concert tickets, antique lace and buttons- all these things can be part of the journal. Listening to your chat, I feel SO MUCH at home :) Thanks for all your generous videos and amazing creations. You are an inspiration for newbies like me. Laurie Molnar

What a very helpful craft chat today, Miss Pam! I am 68 yo and I have become more "function" minded all through our house. I want a home we use instead of one that looks like it was meant for company! Hubby agrees! The old decorator said it: "Form follows Function". Btw, it was fun watching you play with the pile of eyelets! Your hands are alwsys itching to make something! We love you and fam! Blessings! 💕

Watching now about the stamping images. Years ago a Stampin’ Up rep advised to “huff” on the inked stamp. The hot breath does something to the ink and you get more from the stamp. (Huff = hold stamp to open mouth and breathe out onto the stamp w some force.)

Hi Pam, Love the craft and chat. It's great for all of us crafters as well as video creators. Today inspired a question for me...how do you organize your time to create videos and upload to KZbin, make Etsy digitals and post them to Etsy, create the fundals, mailing packages, and host the podcasts? It leaves me in awe how you manage to get so many things done. I am slowly growing in my creative journey and video production and some days it just feels overwhelming. Do you have certain days for doing certain items? Is there a better way to plan it all out? Thank you, I love your channel. Hugs, Angela

I’m always watching from my tv and forget to come comment from my phone. I bought my fabri-fix at michaels and it was $27 Canadian AND only 3/4 full, maybe dissolved? But my question is.....it’s now really really thick and doesn’t squeeze out even when it’s upside down, do you know of a way to thin it out, maybe soak the bottle in hot water? I wasn’t sure because I think it shows it’s explosive or something on the front? Thanks so much for these videos, I look forward to each mon., wed, fri, Saturday but especially Fridays!
