Happy Birthday, after a big project like this I'd say you deserve some rest. That little Robin motor turned out well. If the carb manifold can't work as plastic, then is there a way to use the plastic piece as a mold for casting in aluminum or brass? Or a short bit of schedule 40 steel pipe and some flat stock could be cut-out & welded to make a new manifold. Whatever you do, the fact that it runs so well now is more necromancy than mechanics.

How long do you think that printed intake is will last? Pretty harsh environment. Heat, fuel, vibration, carburetor and filter hanging off of it. 26:12 Never mind. I had not quite got there before posting. That answers that question. LOL. A person can fab one out of steel or aluminum easy enough.

They are real fun haha, just wear eye safety goggles, they have a tendency to strike like a snake. For this startup I used 25:1 that is why its smoking a little, but at least I know it wont seize, also helps when seating the rings.

Looks good. But you need to get yourself a torque wrench and look up specs. Also, always use clamps on fuel lines. They will loosen over time.

specs are for sissies hahaha joking, I do have one, and I torque down every bolt to spec. I just don't show it, I show a few of the fastenings just for show.

You need a pair of pliers to remove those bunched up panties... Don't stop with the first pair either. You likely have more than one pair up there.

How did U set the Ignition timing? & I would lightly grease the recoil spring & the shaft. & Use protective Gloves all the time. Today this engine is Called Subaru it's 4 Stroke. Good Restoration & Video. Cheers.

I hoped it could last longer, turns out the heat from the bolts connected to the cylinder gets quite hot. I actually want to try and cast a manifold with copper for the fun of it. Might make a video on it in the future, but for now, it was enough to get the motor going. Haha love working barefoot. The engine sounds great, I love it!

It is in the carb, the float has a little level pin that you can bend to adjust the float, just make minor adjustments, a little goes a long way.

for this motor yes, some motors have oil injection.
