on the last part where you are twisting and turning...if you just push the small piston down and then up it will come out automatically. You won't have to wrestle with the brown part then.

Thanks for your helpful video. I cleaned and reassembled the brew group on my E50 with your help. When I power it up it runs an initiation sequence and finishes with all flashing lights. Any assistance would be much appreciated.

I have a Jura Impressa S8. Coffee and tea spout have worked constantly. I removed a hose from the steamer to unclog cuz my steam wand was not producing anything. After putting it back together, steam wand worked perfectly. When I went to de calcify, added the tablet and pushed the clean button, the entire process went through the steam wand! I reset to factory settings, re booted, and when I push rinse it again all goes through the steam wand. After "Coffee Ready" I pushed the coffee brew and the grinder activated but the water again came out the steam wand. My understanding is that if I leave it unplugged for 2 hours, the CPU will clear. Then I should get the "fill system" prompt. Right now I am only getting will water. If after the 2 hour wait is still does not channel the water to the coffee spout, I assume it is the fault of the water channeler that is behind the steam knob which has two line in's and 2 line outs. Before I did the repair and cleaning the coffee and tea spouts were functioning perfectly. Advice?

Thanks Nick. Just wondering what is the 'home' position of the brew unit before you put it back in the machine? I was told 3.5 rings from the top, but not sure what this looks like exactly.

Hi, I have a question. My Jura x95 doesn't make strong coffee, just tea-like water :) I can see water coming into the drain and my ground coffee is semi-dry. So the water is not coming into the brewer at full pressure. What can be the problem or the most likely problem ? I've cleaned the brew group like you showed that was not the source of the problem, its somewhere else. Any Ideas ?

Hi nick, I have launched a clean program on my JURA ENA 5 and it has just stopped. And now the on off button at the top doens't work at all, the machin doesn't turn on. What should I do ? Many thanks in advance.

Thanks for the video. This is one of the best out there. -I will mention its easier to get the brew group out if you remove / slide out and move aside the receiver for the water reservoir and also lift out the funnel for the grinder that channels the grounds into the brew group.. -On my F50 there are two screws on the grinder side of the machine that have to be removed as well (can't remember if you did that or not) -I do want to point out that it appears you installed a part backwards. The brown part with the six gear should be twisted 180. Check out this diagram for proper alignment. www.partsguru.com/user/user/x90brew-unit.gif If this part goes in backwards the water for the rinse cycle won't make it up into the group and out the spout and will only shoot out the bottom of the brew group. -some tutorials have mentioned the white gear has to go on a certain way. I'm not sure if I believe this. I lost track as I disassembled and reassembled so many times, but I ultimately looked at and followed this - www.ifixit.com/Guide/JURA+Brew+group/15924 for proper alignment. Notice that the gear threading on the inside starts and ends differently. One has a more gradual slope than the other. The more gradual slope goes down. I found my o-rings on ebay and it came with a key to remove the oval screws on the back of the unit for free

Can anyone tell how the hell do you get the chassis of an Ena 5? My neighbour worked his entire life as a technician and he was totally stumped. I'm pretty handy at this sort of thing ordinarily and not easily put off but just impossible!! HELP!!
