There's an inverse correlation between happiness and intelligence. The smarter you are, the more aware you are of the entire sh*tshow that the modern world is. You see the evil. Everywhere. Not just "abstract" "bad things" that "happen". Deep-rooted, metaphysical evil. The spreding of degeneracy. The accumulation of enormous wealth in the hands of those who least deserve it, and would use it for furthering their antihuman agendas. On a more personal level, you see people. Personal dramas, mistakes, even tragedies, you see how many of these things can be avoided, but you may not interfere out of respect of other people's privacy - lest you become an exile. As an intelligent person you need to either live in an "ivory tower" society, surrounded by peers and relatively isolated from the world at large - or you bear this burden every day, every hour of your existence. And stupid people can just be happy. They don't have to worry about all this. They aren't even aware - not as deeply.

The way I understand it is that if my intelligence is of no use to someone else of lesser intelligence in making their life better, then what value does my intelligence have at all? If I have a grasp on details of patterns of reality that someone else doesn't have, that has no value to that other person. The only way it becomes an asset or of value to socially/collectively is if my intelligence is of use to someone else to help them see some useful information in their life path or in improving their quality of life physically. But people only receive knowledge or wisdom that is outside their awareness if it is delivered with love and humility and simplicity. It can take spiritual growth and practice on the part of the intelligent person to develop this skill of how to communicate in love and humility. Some intelligent people seem effortlessly kind. I don't have much intelligence but I have enough for it to isolate me in some way. My social skills need work. Sometimes I think I'd rather not have it.

Multiple-choice analogy questions to assess verbal skills are like testing a potential boxer with a push-up test or a pad routine. The real question is how well a person can fight? The music of the Beatles bleaks compared to ELP, Queen, Deep Purple, Pink Floyd, and then I haven't even compared it to classical music, which is even an order of magnitude greater than the best art rock bands. You’ve made mistakes, they’ve made mistakes. An intelligent being would look down at your mistakes the same way you look down on theirs. Self inflicted suffering has purpose as it forces us to look inward and assess worldview. Don’t get frustrated when people knock their heads repeatedly against the wall, let people live out the mistakes that they are destined to make. If they are not destined to make those mistakes, they will seek out your council, there is no need to offer unsolicited advice. It is neither welcomed nor appreciated. when jesus said "those who have everything will be given more" jordan peterson actually misunderstood that in my opinion: 2 things, 1 is: what does it mean to have everything? because if you feel like you have everything, which is a state of gratefulness, then you will be grateful for what is to come and it will always be a + because you realized all is happening for you in gratefulness. if you now identify as someone who has nothing, the opposite is true and your mind also will seek for things that are losses. its a question of consciousness not only tho, because god will actually give those who feel like they have everything even more. if you read genesis and read about abraham that becomes clear

From Barclay's commentary on Mark 4:25. It is true of effort. The more we exercise, the more weight we'll be able to lift, the more miles we'll be able to walk. It's also true of the ability to bear responsibility. "If a man shirks his responsibilities, if he evades his decisions and vacillates all the time, in the end he will become a flabby, spineless creature totally unfitted for responsibility and totally unable to come to any decision at all."

IQ can't be grown. If it could, there wouldn't be anyone with less than genius status. Also, another reason their intelligence appears to be growing, may be because they were smart all along, and never realized it, due to child abuse, and neglect. A person raised in that type of environment wouldn't be able to fully express their intellect, if it was constantly squashed out by their parents. I know, because I'm one of these people.

"If you misuse a gift you have been granted, it will become an unbearable burden and turn itself against you." I'd be curious to hear how one's great creativity becomes one's enemy. What comes to mind is a lot of people who might say they're dealing with ADHD. A mind that churns with ideas and connections, but which they've never (or scarcely) learned to channel productively. That's the responsibility to bear. But not like their struggle is necessarily all their fault. It's simply their cross to bear. Often the struggle has a lot to do with the trauma, abuse and neglect of early life. It's hard to organize and channel the gifts of one's mind when, for example, one never learned how to care properly for oneself by being properly cared for.

God has given each of us a mission that He would prefer we accomplish in this life. We've also got handicaps to deal with, but perhaps these can also be blessings, since they may make us more compassionate toward the struggles of others. If we ask Him for His help, He will definitely give it, since this is His mission. It's also our mission, since we were specifically created to find the challenge especially fulfilling. On the other hand, if someone refuses their mission...
