The publication of these reports was promised by Coffey’s predecessors, following claims that thousands of disabled people had died since the Conservatives came into power in 2010. The true number still isn’t known, but it was found that over 17,000 people died between 2013 and 2019 whilst waiting for decisions to be made over their benefit claims. In 2020, we learned that 5,000 disabled people died still waiting to be reimbursed by the government to the tune of £16m in underpaid benefits

I don't think everyone has quite realised the extent to which society is going to be affected by what's coming down the tracks. With energy prices so exorbitantly high, hospitality will be on its knees and the vast majority of venues will probably be forced to close. Even those that remain open will struggle to survive as they will have no choice but to increase their prices that many will simply not be able to afford. With pubs, cafes, restaurants, cinemas and clubs closed, we'll effectively be in a form of semi-lockdown, indefinitely. But if that happens, it may well prove to be a decent breeding ground for dissent to grow, and the Enough is Enough movement shows just how quickly people can be galvanised. I'm not usually one for hyperbolic predictions but if the government doesn't get a handle on what's going on and ignores the public mood, I don't think they'll be in power for much longer.

I'll be burning Parliament to the ground. Will Catesby tried, I'll finish it on his behalf and everyone who's decent. Tories won't like being made homeless, and as vandalism goes, it's just a building. Compare+contrast to what the tories have done, and it still won't touch the sides. They shouldn't have trashed this country, so a little payback is in order. And as for the Traitors. . .

I watched 30 seconds and couldn’t take anymore of his working class rhetoric (lies…)….”wages have been falling for 30 years, and profits through the roof”…..lies…the last 6 months excluded, standards of living have been climbing almost constantly since WW2. Which profits are these Eddie, as I would like to buy some shares in those companies. He is a working class idiot who thinks that the workers should have the right to run companies…well look where that got countries that embraced communism…moron

I'd like to see a real show of solidarity with a designated day or days ongoing just like when everyone clapped for the NHS during those first days and weeks of lockdown when we can all stand by our front doors and Boo this Tory government for 10/15 minutes each evening at a set time of 20:00 ? If everyone participated in a timed Boo, I can pretty much guarantee that this would be heard by those who are responsible for leading the people of the uk.
