The one about Healers doing things out of spite reminds me of a healer I had once. They wouldn't wait for me to secure enmity on every mob in the group (rush into the middle guy with Onslaught, perform AOE-combo to get the guys on the side as they close in on me, easy right?) before spamming their - as you called it - "1 button DPS macro". Needless to say because they were hitting things before I had change to get them focusing on me, a couple mobs strayed off and killed them. They didn't say anything but from that point onward they made sure to ONLY heal me when I was ungodly low, not like your normal "healing when needed" mind you, I mean like this person would intentionally sit there and watch me get to 3-5% HP before starting a healing spell. All because their own impatience got them killed once in the dungeon.

Also massive red flag if you're on the extreme trial mount grind (or any grind for item drops really): Never join a party finder that says "mounts get master looted in order" or some shit like that. I did that once for my Suzaku mount because it was 3AM and there was no other PFs up so I just thought fuck it. It basically just came down to the Party lead and two of his buddies looting the mount for themselves and then they were like "Oh shit guys uhhh... gotta go buy cat food (3AM btw)" and they left 🤣 I got my mount too because we got a lucky 4th drop right before they left but everybody else got screwed. So yeah you'll meet a lot of scumbags in farm parties anyway but never join one of those. They're not common thankfully but I see one every now and then and I pity the poor souls in there.

Now now, there are absolutely legitimate reasons to have cure I on your hotbar. For example, you go into your roulette, and get thousand maws. Ugh, you think, the most boring dungeon in the game. Lets just get this over with. Your party charges forward, eager to get past this blight on the games dungeon list, and you reach the first pull. Everyone starts DPSing, and the tank looks like he could use a heal. Remembering that early dungeons can be... kind of finicky when it comes to damage numbers, you decide to heal early, muscle memory going to afflatus. Whoops, you chuckle, remembering that one doesn't unlock for a few levels. Your finger moves a few keys over, and you hit your GCD heal workhorse, cure II. The tank takes more damage, and almost dies now. Wait, what. Your heart sinks, your eyes dart to your hotbar. Cure II doesn't unlock until level 30 - and this dungeon is synced to 27! In a panic, you open your actions menu, eyes scouring the list to find that worthless newb trap, but its too late. The tank falls, and you can feel the judgement of the universe closing in. Everyone is laughing at you, you, the perfect legend, the master raider, clearer of all content, because you let a tank die in the first pull! Your stomach falls, you forget how to breath. You mess up your raise combo, and swiftcast aero by mistake. A DPS dies. The laughter gets louder. Your hands are shaking so hard that you drop your mouse. When you pick it up, the last DPS is dead, and you are on your way out. You wipe. Everyone respawns. Taking a deep breath, you type into chat the words you memorised long ago, the mantra of every healer who has made a mistake. Words you never thought you'd need to use again. "Sorry, fat fingered :("

So about the LB thing, I got the LB tutorial when I got into my first guildheist before I learned that guildheists are dumb. Then the game slapped me with the LB tutorial, the guildheist tutorial, and about 2 other tutorials at the same time, right when the battle was starting. My thought process was "I need to get this shit off my screen so I can stop standing around and being useless. If it's important, it'll probably come up later." And then it never came up later until a friend told me to put it on my hotbar.
