That trail has some drop dead gorgeous creeks and waterfalls. I like to hear you talk, what I and most people hate is the background music that some vloggers put out.on their videos. They even play music while they talk! I said a prayer for your foot, hope it finally heals up.

Nice video. I do prefer you talking, though, for what it's worth. I enjoy your commentary, and you always sound so cheery and upbeat even if you're going through something hellacious lol

Love it! I remember when I did this trail back in 2021, I went with my teenage daughter who was driving me crazy the entire time because it was summer and it rained the night before and it was humid, buggy, muddy and she had no cell phone signal lol 😂 she was so mad! We had to cut it short or I was risking my sanity 😂 beautiful memories! Haha

I would have done the same. Summer would be a miserable time to hike it. I do day hikes in the area in summer, but it is too hot and buggy for me then for a thru hike. The spring and Fall are so gorgeous and much cooler.

Typically I always enjoy your narrative along with your insights along the way. I also felt this was also a super great idea! Especially since I have been planning to use our local treadmill. THANKS! Hmmm, you probably use a treadmill too

I usually do, but am taking it easy on my feet right now. So am not walking much.

I hope so...I think I remember you mentioning that your rib was still bothering you from your fall in the Smokes as you topped Katahdin. You never breathed a word of it at least not yet (I'm still on your PA section). So I'm glad you hopped off the Foothills because you really must have been in agony.@@hikingmovie

@@Rabid.Turtles My rib I cracked in the Smokeys took a couple of months to heal and stop hurting. I cracked the lowest rib on the other side at the beginning of the Whites I think or just before. That rib hurt until well after the hike was over. We were all walking wounded at that point. Possum had a fractured upper arm he got in New York and old buzzard had a cracked rib on his chest from a fall near the beginning of the whites. I was the least injured of the three of us.

If you have to hurt at least the views are totally magnificent! Hang in there @@hikingmovie

A nice winter hike in the woods. If Greyhound sees her shadow does that mean 6 more weeks of winter? Hope your feet are feeling better.
