A personal favorite is Maybe Someday from bloodflowers. My girlfriend and I consider it our song and every time I hear it I cannot contain my tears since it’s so beautiful and really makes me think about how lucky I am to be with my girl. A great song by the cure about losing touch with someone is Signal to Noise, especially the acoustic Version, the lyrics are extremely emotional for me, doubting if the person ever understood you at all, and drifting apart. "Say you don't understand me like before I'm not sure if you ever did, if you ever did at all?" "Look high and low where did we go? You moved too fast or maybe I just moved too slow?"

I think it’s pretty obvious that Robert is neurodivergent, probably autistic. I mention this because people on the spectrum experience life with another level of intensity, this applies to feelings as well. The constant mention of feeling like dreaming, could be the experience of derealization. I went to see them last year with my husband. We danced together so much during that show. The perfect date.
