Its so bad why he cannot explain, why after b5 white cannot move the knight and Attack afroamerican rook on a8, even after c6 the b8 knight is stuck guarding that and all queenside development is delayed, so adgamator is not analysis games, he just show them and sometimes saying best evaluation of engine. So sad that hes not giving as much hearth as he does and he’s not spending too much time for preparation himself to proper analysis
@sujoysengupta27345 жыл бұрын
After c6, the Knight won't be stuck guarding the pawn as the fianchettoed Bishop will guard that and black will proceed with his normal development while White's Knight will be awkwardly placed. Don't expect spoon feeding, man.

Some strange and inaccurate claims about Meier's time in the comments. Meier had 1:25 left on his clock when Magnus made his last move Qe4. Meier did not immediately resign. He wisely used the time available to see if there was anything he had missed and any way out. Thought for over a minute. Offered his hand in resignation with 4 seconds left.

At 7:05 after the knight to c6 from white, why not go castle to c8? You can take the knight with the castle after that and it will still be protected by the queen and if white then moves the knight somewhere else, black gets a free queen

Hey I am begineer, why not at 14:30 after capturing the bishop, black gets queen, white can go for backrank check, king moves and white knight can capture 1 of the queen and give back the piece. Pawn down will have the possibility of draw lot more than losing! @Agadmator

@alexandruepuran5 жыл бұрын
I find the new regulation AND the taking charge of the WCh quite of good common sense. What I’d suggest to FIDE right now is honoring Agadmator aka Our Antonio with a trophy of some sort and also a special prize for doing more for Chess than ALL the National Federations combined. Making chess more popular, better (if possible) understood and a lot more attractive and accessible. The vast knowledge of noobs also greatly improved. IF they are excellent subscribers (and they are) of course. And this is not a joke.

Really starting to appreciate these "find the interesting move" segments now that I'm at the point of "Clearly it has to be bishop captures, but I have absolutely no idea why"
@bezzlebedeviled47565 жыл бұрын
7:34 -- Be1 is a poor move. Better is b4 immediately. (The bishop cannot be saved, as Carlsen can force the exchange anyway, as seen with the played Be1, and Bb4 is disastrous after Rb8. b4 followed by N/B exchange leaves White's queen nicely positioned on d2 -- and obviously there won't be a Black rook on c3 bringing down the property values.)

If was very hard to beat Carlsen in the fomer world championship format with time increment, in this new format will be impossible.
@lollycopter5 жыл бұрын
The new format is mathematically the same. Both old and new formats start with 2 hours for the first 40 moves (100 minutes + 20 minutes of increment), 1 hour (50 minutes + 10 minutes of increment) for moves 41-60 and 15 minutes + increment for the rest of the game.
@davejackson23905 жыл бұрын
Yes but as seen at the shamkir chess tournament player struggle really hard against carlsen without the increments early on. He likes this format better, because it seems like he has no problems with no increments as he handles his time better and his opponents struggle much more often.
@msalty28235 жыл бұрын
What a tough loss. It seems that Meier had a good plan and was able to create connected passed pawns, only to lose in the end. Perhaps he made one or two slight inaccuracies which is enough against Magnus but he played so well and still remains without a point in the competition which has to be tough. I salute his fighting spirit.

No increment seems like it was to reduce the draws that everyone is complaining about. At their level though, does it matter? All they have to do if they want to draw is go into a well known line of a well known opening and they will probably both know exactly how to draw the game.
