For me, I think American healthcare is a complicated issue. It’s not as bad as leaving someone to die on the street (even without money or health insurance, you could go to the ER and get basic care). On the other hand, my husband and I currently have a lot of medical debt due to various health problems. Now the good thing is, they don’t charge interest so we can pay how much we want whenever we want, but the medical debt never stops.
@petesmith133 ай бұрын
It stops when you die which a cynical lefty would say is their only reason to keep you alive but it's not the case... Most people who go on about how great their public/tax funded healthcare systems are in comparison to the American system have never actually had to use the system for anything major

The most hilarious thing about Salari's video is that I stopped watching him when he joined the anti-debate bro industrial complex, where Leftist video essayists decided that the biggest problem in the world (or the easiest way to grift their audience) was to make videos on how debate bros were the biggest problem in the world. It didn't pan out well for most of them, all it achieved was the video essayists discovered that they had a significant audience overlap with the debate bros they were targetting (who'd have thought that Leftist viewers watch more than one kind of Leftist content?) and people like Vaush and Keffals had their careers secured for another year.

You can't get mad when you drone on about the same shit the others do, in the same way and people start consolidating, or just leaving that sphere of content altogether when they realize they may as well just listen to an AI script about the same subjects going through the lenses they wanna hear them through.

Negative content exists because we are hard wired to learn from our mistakes and we process information in a consequential manner. We literally have idioms and inspirational quotes about overcoming mistakes - Fall of the horse, get back on. Success is the journey not the destination etc. So when something is being analysed we tend to explain what we know and works and critique what could be better. This only makes sense in how we discuss things. Saved you a whole Salari video and I didn't bring up politics.

The guy's video is old but an actual good example of what he was talking about in the beginning happened with the Silent Hill 2 remake. People were already saying it would suck when they learned who would develop it and basically every time anything about it was released they had the same bullshit arguments about how it was bad. You can see this happening in a pyrocinical reaction to a trailer were he already started to hate on the game and say "it does not look like silent hill at all" during the first seconds of the trailer when they were just showing a montage of 1:1 recreations of parts of the original game. But silent hill 2 remake was released and despite all the fanbase wanting for it to be bad the game is pretty solid and almost anyone who played so far only had excellent things to talk about it

The walking dead Breadtuber is whining about an old topic when it comes to criticism. I think it's easier to point out what's wrong in a movie, or comic, or game, or whatever. Everyone can bring up the horrible acting and dialogue in The Room, can anyone find anything enjoyable about it? other than laughing at how bad it is? If you loved Mrs. Doubtfire it's easy to overlook how the ex-wife wouldn't eventually notice the new nanny looks alot like her ex, and maybe remember he had a brother who did makeup, and the ex was a voice actor. People will over look the minor issues with a movie when they love it. It's harder to do when it's a movie people don't like. I think what idiots don't get is people being critical of movies aren't angry, it's not like discussing people arrested for CP or mass murder, it's people talking about a movie. Yeah, when it's a franchise people once loves like Star Wars there is more passion into it. But these people aren't ripping into rom coms because those aren't the types of movies these people are passionate about.

It can be great if you're rich or have Medicaid. People are not dropping dead outside of hospitals on the regular (except maybe for level 1 trauma centers and big cities). It is totally normal to have an emergency and leave the hospital with a 12k bill if you have shitty insurance or no insurance.
