What technique do you use for your vibrato?
@KyrenHarmonicaАй бұрын
A mix of breath, throat, and bending. In this video when I hit the 3 draw bend or 6OB (same note different octaves) I'm doing slight bends up and down so I know I'm hitting the note no matter what. It's something that Jason Ricci does and I learned off him. Also I'm playing the 13th at Oddies Bar & Grill if you have nothing going on. It's a fundraiser to raise money for the teams that won to go to Memphis for the Blues challenge so you may have to pay to get it.

Without proper recording equipment, you can't really tell about tone being recorded through a phone. Also, what you might like to hear through your amp at the house ain't necessarily what you need in a mix. Some awesome sounding guitar solos have terrible tone when taken out of the mix. Gotta blend and cut through all the instruments that are competing for space in the mix. Great playing as usual.

That's a very good point I never thought about that. And thank you!

you mentioned in the video describtion about your thin tone, you know that it is not the amp and pedals, add more volume by playing louder and quiter when needed - dynamics, open your cup hands, more harp in mouth etc. But i think you played how you felt and you felt tired from what i can see

Thank you Dre! I also think I need to use double stops a little more for texture! Thank you again for listening and yeah I definitely was feeling tired.

Don't give up your day time jobs. Blues is a sum of a lot of parts. Typical amateur band there is no story line of structure going anywhere. By modern day standards it is very poor. It is 2024. Learning blues isn't just notes it is about understanding life. This lot act as as if they have never seen Wolf in action. There is an answer right there but it is beyond their reasoning.

I'm not too sure what you're trying to say here sorry. But I do understand that these days people focus more on the notes than the feeling or story.
