If Im not careful, I could sit and listen to Marcin, and Marcin and his friends ALL DAY LONG. Oh my gosh, how is it possible that anyone can be so goooooood?? This is its own thing. The original is about life and emotion. This uses the melody as just a structure for virtuosic expression. The thing with these guys is that their virtuosity is mixed with aesthetic preferences for delicacy and a kind of almost crystalline beauty at times. Of course it’s just my take on it-but it’s a difference between them and other pyrotechnic guitar shredders.

For all guitarists out there who are about to give up on their musical journey after seeing things like this, they're great but you don't need to be good at playing guitars like them to be a successful musician. When I started out my band, I could only play basic chords. I mean reallyyyy basic stuff like major and minor chords only plus very simple solo that anyone could play. But we managed to release 3 albums, toured to US, Europe and Asia, performed so many gigs (I've lost count) and featured in one of the Anthony Bourdain's episode. My point is that music is an art. You just need to be creative. Don't waste your time practicing to be good at playing the instrument cuz it'll never end. You'll get good along the way. Cheers!
