So, I realize to pick this as my first song to learn is unreasonable, but I'll be damned if I don't get some of it. will update. Update 1: Firstly ouch, my fingers. Second, I can play it slowly for the first 20 seconds. I can play Sweden c418 now tho. Update 2: my fingers dont hurt anymore and I can slap consistently now so its going good. I took some advice and learned a couple chords, progressions, and Death Bed by powfu so I'm behind on this song but its easier now. Update 3: I spent a little more time on it and while I haven't made much forward progress, the sound is a lot cleaner and everything is smoother. If you have any songs or tips that you recommend, fire away! Anything is appreciated. Update 4: So, I have the entire thing memorized now and I can play up to around 50-52 roughly. Other than that I've memorized 10 chords plus the ones used in this song, and I'm practicing switching between them which I probably should have started with but oh well. I've been caught up on some things but I have the entire week moving forward to do as I please. I'll probably update again soon. Thanks! Update 4.5: The hardest part right now for me is 30 to 40 seconds. That whole part really messes with me for now. Just thought I'd add that. Final update: I have it all memorized and can play it steadily at 0.75x. Its a little rough but I just have to play it more. In case you're wondering I played for close to 5-6 hours everyday.

I gonna learn Minecraft or something with it, can't just not learn the basics.
@megalol39663 жыл бұрын
My advise would be to learn something easier first and come back when this isn't as hard for you.
@dzaesonp85993 жыл бұрын
learning from a difficult song is a good way to master playing the guitar, It may not help you to develop understanding music theory but its a good way to improve your control of the guitar.
@marclparcl3 жыл бұрын
that sounds like a good start! this is a small tip but you might find it helpful: each fret is a half step up and its easier to play barre chords by pushing with your right/strumming arm. good luck!!
@adamboof67693 жыл бұрын
Aryuu_ hey pal. Just go slowly this is way too hard for a beginner. Even if you play the right notes it won’t sound right. Its awesome that this inspires you but stick to the basics :)

Never been a big fan of the song , until now. Really like hearing it done this way - really shows how a single guitar in the right hands can cover the whole spectrum of instruments and not sound too stark/bare. Great job.

I learned both fly me to the moon and autumn leaves! Now I’m going a step up and try to play this one! Wish me luck :) Edit: 10/31/21. It's been a year since I've posted this comment. After about 8 months of constant guitar practice, every day, I experienced heavy burnout. I tucked my guitar away and I didn't touch it until a week ago. As anyone, I was very rusty. I had forgotten all of my tabs and songs I was able to play, my calluses were gone. I had to start over. After about two days of finding all of my old tabs, playing them until perfection, I had come to the big moment. The song that ultimately made me tuck my guitar in a corner. "Slow dancing in the dark guitar fingerstyle" I was faced with a challenge. Every day, after school, even on weekends, I would sit and practice that song. Yesterday I finished it. Perfection.. Now I'm faced with this song.. even harder than the others. I've practice so long for this.. I'll keep you posted on my journey..
