The transformation is enjoyable. He looks good. The tank kibble in bot and jet modes could have been managed a little better. Overall he still gets a 10/10 for having all 3 modes, for being faithful to his g1 toy and animation, and for just being awesome. It's Blitzwing !

Blitzwing looks sooo good in bot mode. So chunky, thick, and filled out. If anyone wants to critic his back kibble, you just tell 'em that this bot turns into a jet and carries a tank on his back. He's one powerful decepticon. If I have any critic, it's that his scale and all the other triple changer scales are wrong. They should all be bigger than their teammates.

I would like to extend a very big thanks for your video I was having some trouble with the knee tabs that extend the legs in robot form thinking that I was going to wind up breaking it but watching you be a little bit more forceful putting them in helped out a lot

For anyone that's got this, are the tabs on the legs to clip in so he stands up giving you issues to? The ones on mine seem to be slightly out of place and I can't get any of them to lock in. Anyone have any advice for this?

me too i had squeeze it really hard thought it was going to break the tab

Mine was the same. Easy fix was to add one little chamfer to the receiving pocket/slots so the tab can slide in. Just took one small tiny scrape with the xacto knifes and made a huge difference.

Try and get something sharp in the tab slots and chip away at them to make them bigger. I used scissors and it worked for me

honestly if the alt modes arent hitting then its a difficult pass for me. his bot mode does look great, but if i wanted just a cool robot then i would be into the r.e.d line which i am not. titans returns did a lot of things right.

r.e.d is horrible (not because it can’t transform, but because of the bad quality and how much plastic they use) you would probably like 3rd party non transforming ones more

I just got this version of Blitzwing. I haven't put it in robot mode yet, but after tank and jet mode am considering reselling it. If it didn't come with an extra blaster and those 2 stupid hand things, then maybe they would have been able to put in more budget and polish this thing a bit more to provide a finished product, especially at the price point.

@@davidm4566 that is a major bummer to hear. i dont understand why the engineering has to be compromised in any way, and the end result on either or both modes has to look unsatisfactory. its like why not challenge yourself as the creators of transformers to compete with the likes of fans toys or x trans, and blow those companies out of the water. but no. armada starscream and victory leo look dope.

@@NotBoringFilms I think they know that fans will pretty much buy anything with the brand label slapped on it. They seem to only care about the bottom line, so they make it just good enough to keep enough interest and cut every corner possible to still do that. When interest fades, they up the quality and up the price to compensate. Then they drop the quality, wait until interest fades. Rinse, repeat.

OK, at :56, this irritates me. The tank has small wings that do nothing and fold away in jet mode. Seriously? Skip them or even better: have them be functional in jet mode.

I've had this hunk of shit over 2 months and mine must just be broke. I've never got all the tabs to go in without the legs coming undone in either mode. I give up on this thing. Bummer.

Thanks Emgo, great review as always. As far as the toy, I'm not happy with the Jet mode to be honest. Too much kibble underneath and not very aerodynamic. I agree with the other commentor, that I'd just as soon remove it as an option. Lastly, as a plug, Emgo is my go to for transforming instructions. The paper copies aren't cutting it. I need to see the thing move. :)

Find it hilarious that I got this guy on clearance at Walmart. Thought I was looking at things wrong on the instructions, nope. I see that I'm having the same issue as a lot of other people... it's that damn knee tab that doesn't seem to want to go in. Either I'm going to have to force it or figure it out.
