I am just trying to give an objective opinion and explain the context because it's very interesting : Diablo was part of the Criminalz with Les Twins before and like all the members of this crew, they have signatures, they shared knowledges but also they have their identity. In the first round, you can see Les Twins doing their routine. It was dope but many Diablo's moves were incorporated (the move on the ground on 3:08 is one of them). It was like they tried to mock Diablo's, telling him 'hey bro you still using criminalz vibes'. But then Stalamuerte just killed it whis his freestyle. In the second round, though Laurent was good, the energy Diablo was giving was insane, he was feeling more the music and you can see on 5:50, Diablo says in french 'that is mine' talking about the move which is used often by Les Twins now. For me, Diablo and Stalamuerte won, not just because of that, but Diablo's round was powerful and Stalamuerte's freestyle is underrated. I appreciated this battle and I really liked your video, and I just want to say that I like your dance's style, you are really good, keep going ! :)

@@theshild738 that was intentional - watch his body language, he was taunting him, it's all in the spirit of freestyle battling in hip hop. LT have no need to bite lmao. Also, diablo always does that move in every big event, so more reason someone who knows his style so well would want to capitalize by mocking him for it and they knew he was gonna get mad about it. Don't get the reason for getting so emotional about it.

First off, shoutout to you bro, Hopefully we have another year of Juste Debout so we can see you in the popping division! Either way it amazes me how much people don’t know the language of dance. You see it but, some of these comments are left field lol. Maybe it’s a cultural thing. But the first round Larry and Laurent do the twisted ankle move basically saying “we already know your going to do this”. Which is why Laurent throws his hands up like “what is that going to be it?” Which Diablo actually does at the end of his round but he adds a little more to it. Then Larry pushes Laurent like, “that’s weak, get that out of here”. Then they do the next move on the floor like “oh and you’re going to do this too”. Not to steal it, it’s almost a Eminem 8 mile trick, like I did everything you were going to do, now what? Which is why when Diablo starts his round, idk if you can see it that good but, in a different angle Larry is doing the move with him again to say like bro, “ you’ve been doing this since we’ve known you” Stalamuerte (idk off spelled that right) was good but it was a convo with himself and not really Larry, so I give it to Larry. It was a lot of choreo and then he starts attacking but it’s kind of too late. Now Laurent, turns it up technique wise and kind of shows him where the twins are now. And Diablo says okay, “I’ll meet you there!” Which like Metal says, starts the actual battle! He danced for a short time but, he makes his point. I mean BE MAKES HIS POINT. I gave you this move “the backwards walking move” oh and boom “this is how you actually do the leg move you tried”. Which is why I give it a tie like Metal said in one of these comments. It’s a perfect exchange although different two 🔥 round. Keep it up bro!

I think the most important parts of battling are feel, message, and energy. If you aren’t saying anything, or if nobody believes you, or you’re boring you’re gonna lose. Battles aren’t a technical showcase, they’re an arena where you fight and only one comes out, you have to let the world know who won, and Diablo did that.

It was a great battle. But The first round the twins lose it. But for the second round the twins take it. Laurent killed it everybeat. When diablo finish dancing there were some bias group running to the stage. Diablo was dancing for 28 seconds but for 22 seconds remaining on his time he didn't do anything. But for me need another round. But bias group,bias crowd and also bias judges. 😊😊😊😊

Larry vs Stala was a tie. Their routine was alright, but overall struck me as a bit sloppy. It's easy to miss because of the hype right behind them. The freestyle wrapped it around but Larry kind of met him as far as it. It was nothing special from neither of them with a few neat signatures. Laurent vs. Diablo is where things should've come into play. Diablo did have crazy energy and a super powermove.. But half of his set went off of riding that. It wasn't enough, especially after seeing Laurent's round. This match was all hype factor. Les Twins didn't win by a large margin.. In my opinion, if Diablo didn't sell the bag.. They probably would've won it for me if he maintained that pace.

Larry was very off beat during his round. Laurent did moves from a decade ago. Les Twins seemed really off and performed horribly considering what they're capable off. Diablo's 30 second response to their personal attacks basically dismantled their catalogue. Les Twins lost this one fair and square.

Agreed Metal no Disappointment. I appreciated both of their rounds. I hope you know and don't let Les Twin fan boys distract you that in battles there is Commandos and Routines. There is no rule book in any scene or in "Hip Hop Battles" that if the routine or commando last a whole round its classified Choreo? lmao. Don't let no one misguide you or give the wrong education. People complain about rounds and that someone didn't go the whole round. Sometimes they don't need to its not a rule. Judges have their personal way of choosing people. I just get tired of people that sit who don't battle or even take workshops then have the guts and say how did they lose? When the people that Judge are competing, practicing, beat the top of the top in battles, and earned their stripes in communities around the world and teach. LMAO. Give me a break. Les Twins lost due to energy and execution simple. Also it seems like Les Twins used alot of Diablo's moves to try and use it against him. Its called "Biting" one of the biggest things you don't do is use other's signature moves. It can cost you a win. All love to the battle and fans. Just keeping it real.

I’ve been in the LA dance scene for years so I definitely know my shit and don’t get influenced by comments or what the majority’s narrative is. I can’t speak as if I know exactly why the judges made their call but it is what it is. I can only give my opinion on it or have a conversation with anyone about it and hear em out. Battles like this are the most interesting to discuss. I’m not sweating the twins using Diablo’s move cause I believe they used it intentionally because of their history. The rootin of les twins is the spécial moov of diablo and during his stay, after the "The walk on moov" at 4,24 diablo Say at Laurent "its mine !" and continuous dancing. I see diablo use this moov in 2008. And at 1,40 there is 5 years diablo use this moov for the first time Europe not hate les twins just respect the underground hip hop culture. hip hop evolve and les twins has not changed since 2011.(watch final just debout hip hop 2011 and Say me ^^} There are thousands of dancers outsude of les twins and les twins are not everything. i sense some bias from the judges too tho. i think theres a lot of jelousy going on. diablo is good but he didnt do shit there it was a lot of fillers and small parts of dancing and barely any detail or musicality some creativity to his movement but eh... you they also didnt dance the full dance round which the judges normally take that into account and had more choreo than freestyles.. i dont agree at all

Depending on what the dancer does during their round it’s not uncommon for them to end early. Laurent’s round was crazy in the music.
