@@radasez yes creditability with black. I take away nothing she has accomplished. look at her track record what has she done that is not black people focused? be honest. parkers, her talk show was one bet one, her movies, black bird, precious, roscoe Jenkins, fat girls(only movie she has ever been the main headliner in) queens of comedy(1 of 4, many people say somore was the funniest one that night), 3 strikes, 2 can play that game, half pass dead, domino, hair show, almost Xmas. I don't count her voice work in kids cartoons. oh let me not forget that great cross over beer fest that she was in. I ask honestly what has she done that screams to white people? I know and understand why black folks love her.
@radasez

warlock4hm I’m with you. But do you know the power of the black dollar and our viewership. We are proving to support our own without white viewers. We support at the box office and Netflix. I understand where you are coming from, but I believe she could get the numbers. Maybe not Amy Schumer (which wasn’t good). Dave Chappell etc. But she was worth way more then what they offered. I loved that you ran down her work though.
@warlock4hm
@warlock4hm 4 жыл бұрын
@@radasez i agree the black dollar is powerful. so powerful that it's said that we would equal something like number 12 in world economic power. Where we disagree is i don't believe in the the black monolith of spending my just because it's from a black person. I need quality. case in point you believe Netflix lowballed her. the only she has carried on her own was fat girls, which made 12m world wide(2006). do you know that she had a comedy for Amazon prime in 2016. that no one watched. hell the show time show she did a few months ago didn't draw either and that's after all of this hype and support from the black community. another point for Netflix. this isn't hard evidence but most black folks i know in nyc that have Netflix share one laid account. i see 8 or 9 on one paid account. from a business standpoint why would Netflix pay her for a audience that doesn't even buy their product. help i use my home girl's account. just because I can. from a business standpoint she doesn't deserve the money from Netflix. I understand you disagree. if you can come up with a logical reason for business to pay someone 10m when they only make the 1m?

She didn't know her audience. I also wonder if the Canadian white women are similar to American white women. I think not because they didn't laugh. Also, she was talking about poor black African American men who grew up in the inner city. That isn't the cultural makeup of the black people in Canadian.
