This is one of my favourite performances by Bob Dylan. It will blow you away. He is so confident, so good, and so well appreciated. He is 70 years old in this clip. I am in awe of this great man.

I love bob dylan so much, but idk if this is a “raw” performance or whether he just can’t sing anymore I saw him play in Hyde Park, just after Neil Young, and Neil totally blew him off the stage He played blowin in the wind and like a rolling stones as slow blues songs😂, and no one knew what they were until halfway through That said, you gotta pay respect, one of the best songwriters of all time and he does what he wants, whether it’s good or not
@kieranflood93434 жыл бұрын
@@kostaburgess4373 You need to listen to his new record to hear just how great he can still sing - and write. But I agree, with this performance he's barking it as much as singing. @@peterbland7227 - Actually, the band that played with him on Highway 61 (with the exception of Al Kooper) did a world tour with Dylan in '65 or '66. I'm pretty certain that the entire band, less Al Kooper, were on that tour, but I'm not absolutely positive. Dylan had been receiving death threats (I suppose over going electric) and Kooper bowed out for that reason. I think all of the rest of the band except Kooper did the tour with Dylan. I know for certain that Mike Bloomfield and Harvey Brooks did, but that's the only ones I know for certain did that tour.

Wow people sure do like to rip into and criticize a great artist! The guy has feelings too...no wonder he doesn’t do interviews often. The guy practically gave us his entire life as a gift, touring non stop, going to the small towns and skipping out on big commercialization out of choice, which i respect...he always speaks his heart and truth, and uses HIS voice in his own style to his own songs...and people come in here and just rip him to shreds...why? To me he is one of the greatest gifts to Humanity...1,000s of songs. He wrote so many songs that he himself cannot remember them all...why hate? If it’s so easy, please just write songs like this and perform even better if all the haters think it’s sooooo easy! Do it! I write songs myself, and Dylan is a straight up hero to many...even a bigger hero since he didn’t want the fame and didn’t use it for his own vanity. Legend...please criticize him some more guys, rip on his voice more! I love his voice though, you can hear truth and emotion in it, not some fakey soulless voice....anyways, criticize all you want, but at least write and post your songs here while you show us how easy it is!
