Back when Justice wasnt Vengeance, he actually gave good advice.

Velanna was originally supposed to take Anders' place in DA2, but when developing it they felt that Anders would make more sense because of the Mage vs Templar plot. You can see them setting it up in some conversations here.

That would’ve made her comment about him staying away from her body very ironic

Iirc, wasn't it because Velanna wasn't well received as a companion initially that they replaced her with Anders?

It's interesting picking out personality quirks in Justice that we can see in Anders by the time of DA2, the way they melded together into one being and slowly corrupted each other's ideals is so interesting

I think all the characters in Awakening had great development, but I wish we got more of them all. Velanna became one of my favorites and even though she doesn't appear again, I can at least come up with my own interpretations. I always liked how she learned from her bigotry and overtime became more open minded. I'm really looking forward to when you eventually do the Velanna and Nathaniel banter! Keep up the great work.

And it was with these conversations (and many others) where the noble soul of Justice was turned into Vengeance.

Anders anger turned him into Vengeance after they joined together.

@@Fizz-Pop Although technically he didn’t. The rebellion was really kicked into motion when the mages in Cumberland decided to break from the circle in the novel “Asunder”

I’d love to see justice talk with Sten
@alejandroyava7 ай бұрын
Sten would be horrified and wary of Justice. In his eyes, Justice would be a product of what uncontrolled magic and mages do. An aberration, possing as a man like a kid wearing a fur and pretending to be a wolf. The Qun would have no place for a creature like Justice.

I love Justice so much in Awakening. It’s sad how much wisdom they had before Anders twisted them with their own hidden hatred.

I find odd how Justice give advice to Velanna on how to atone herself, considering how Justice turn to the Dark side and become a demon, i could it like the idea of Velanna being the vessel of Justice instead of Anders, she would being perfect since she wants vengeance for her people, but yeah that revenge seems to end with the death of the broodmother and i think it is a good way on how to atone herself by the end of the game that she save some humans lifes, i like that but poor Anders how has to turn into a monster, he was so funny and likeable in awakening, in the second game he is very toxic and hypocrite because of Justice :C
@dostwood51032 жыл бұрын
Justice really is one of the most tragic characters in the series. He was such a good-hearted spirit and cared deeply about everything around him. Then he became a demon just from a decision that he couldn't predict the outcome of.

I think it kinda makes sense given what bioware considers canonical choices. Anders being who he is and justice's body rotting, the two probably found justice in saving mage lives who were undeserving of such a fate, and the twisted with human emotions, mild lyrium blight from anders gray warden status, justice got twisted into a minor demon from all that, it makes sense; the rage is justified
@BrewstaRoost7 ай бұрын
Justice eventually had to hop bodies to stay in a world he loved, and save anders life in the processs and faked his death for real justice, then going to kirkwall to save as many lives as possible and the red lyrium corruption via proxy and affecting gray wardens with the architect plot line. It clarifies a few points in hind sight

Velanna and Justice would've been a better choice than Anders in DA2
