There is an episode in which the Plaintiff's daughter was accused of cheating in school and the Defendant chose to upload the photo she took of the daughter onto a social media site. This resulted in the Plaintiff's child feeling humiliated, ashamed and upset. She admitted to the cheating, but she also explained to The Judge that she felt forced to do it because it was something that the other students were doing. The student was eleven and The Judge did not hold back when she spoke to The Defendant. Namely, she thought that the Defendant's actions were not the right thing to do. I do not recall the name of the episode. If I do find it again, I shall let viewers of these comments know.

My son worked in a high end seafood restaurant (while attending college). A couple came in and ordered the works appetizers to desserts plus drinks. They skipped on a $250.00 bill while my son was retrieving another tables order. The jerk took the money outta my son’s check. How in hell are they supposed to keep their eye on the customer and go back and forth to the kitchen? Hire someone to either watch the door or watch the tables! Cheap skates!

At 15 hostessing was my first job and is so much more than just seating people. I've seen people take payments and tips right of the table. That's why some wait staff will hover around, not because their being nosey. Since I was being tipped out I barley made $4 an hour. It would take awhile to take $400 out of his check I would think. Anyways, I cant figure out what he would gain by them walking out without paying but he just seems sketchy. Maybe he pocketed the whole bill
@peekaboots017 ай бұрын
Why does he seem sketchy? The boss seems like a jerk. Like you say, it wouldn't benefit him to let that group of people skip out. He only knew one guy casually.

@@peekaboots01he seems sketchy because he's the one who called the boss for an extra chef. Then when he gets the extra shift, he's lollygagging with the customers who supposedly ran off with the check after he was hugging them and everything like that. They ran up the bill after he was hugging them. Talking to them laughing with them and then they left so he seems very suspicious. It's very suspicious for a person to one call in on their day, offer extra shifts, and then when they do have the exercive, they have somebody who they claim they do not know, but you're giving them. Hugs and smiling and laughing and everything. I've been in hostess communities and everything like that and not one hostess or host ever giving me a hub when I go sit down to eat my food, they probably smell and became very friendly but hugging and laughing was not a part of their criteria.I worked in the food industry.We don't do those, so, yes, he is very suspicious.He is very suspicious and sketchy in a you.Don't see it.Then you will fall victim to someone like him and I hope you do.I'm just saying it like that because I am not nice.I am kind but not nice and i'm gonna tell you that if you can't see it, then you will be taking advantage of so open your eyes to take off those rose color glasses for the cutie, because the balls technically did nothing wrong

That is not how you build relationships with your customers. There's no host or hostess that's coming up to people who they don't know and giving them hugs just because they want extra money. It makes it worse when you're like. Oh, the person I did give a hug is a classmate of mine that I go to school with. So not only did you not get the money, but you know him and he ran out on your bill. So if you wanted to get paid, then you should have had him come back to the restaurant and pay your owner, and you probably would have got your job back. But this is why you are considered sketchy, because you're saying this is a friend of yours that you hugged and that the only reason why you're so friendly is so that you can make extra money so you're telling me that you also did not see this friend afterwards after you got fired back at school to have them give you back your money, because when you got sued, you had to pay him the money if you lost this case. Now, if you lost this case, are you going to that friend supposedly, because if you don't have an issue with this and this is your friend like you say. It is then, yes. You was a part of the reason and you knew that there was going still that honey, or you park in the money they either didn't pay because you told him they didn't have to or you pocket.The money is one or the other.Because that was your friend that you was hugging that you knew who came with his friends or his peoples ate the food and then dipped

I don't know...I feel like the defendant is right about a waiters job being "get the money." He doesn't have the right to take his paycheck but he sure does have the right to fire him over not collecting it. Also, the plaintiff is a bit sus. He knows the guy, then call the police on him and work this case to prove ur innocence. I would do this just bc I would feel wronged as well. On a $400 bill that is at least 80 tip. I would want that. I would have told the defendant, if I prove my innocence, let me keep my job. If he cared enough about job to sue for the following week of pay, he should care enough to help the business. This is so typical American culture. Workers only care about their pay. Owners only care about their bottom line. Think bigger. If your work place does well, so do you. If your workers are happy, ur business wipl prosper. You got to be a team.
