I know, right? In a recent trial sean finnigan was found guilty of torture, murder, and 10 other things. After the jury said death sentence and went to leave the court room he looked at them walking out and was shaking his head in disbelief. Unbelievable huh? He brought her home and within 10 hrs she had been hit with a baseball bat seriously injured but was alive for 4 more days while they tortured her... look it up if you haven't heard of it. But I can't believe it when they act that way... What did you expect Sean? Play stupid life changing games, win life changing charges.

Most of the time a jury does decide whether the defendant is guilty or not guilty in the U.S. The exception to this is when a defendant is granted what's called a bench trial.
